98 buick century turns over wont start

Rose, Can you hear the fuel pump 'buzz' for a few seconds when you turn the key to the 'on' position? Is so. and I know this sounds crazy, but try turning your heater fan switch all the way to the high position and then try cranking it. Another Buick Century owner told about this in another forum and it works for him and others. Apparently there is a fault in the computer and the electrical current draw from the heater fan has a positive effect on it. It's worth a try. If this works for you please post on this site so that others may benefit. Thanks

I have a 2002 buick century. It seems to be running hot. I have flushed the coolant system and refilled the radiator. I have replaced the temp sensor and the molule in the fuse box, still the electric...

With the A/C on the coolant fan should run constantly to cool the A/C condenser in front of the radiator. With the A/C off the coolant fan should come on around 210 degrees and stay on until the coolant temperature drops to between 190 and 200 degrees. Hope this helps.

COOLING FAN ON MY 1991 BUICK CENTURY DOES NOT TURN ON.

Fans will not turn on unless the ac is on or the engine is at 225 degrees . Might be a fan relay or sensor.

1990 buick century 3.3 engine cooling fan wont come on.

The fan switch is under the alternator. The turn on temp is 238. Have you checked power at the relay? If you ground the wire at the the temp switch does the fan come on?

High/low sensor switch location for 1999 Buick Century

Ros.....The heater motor is located under the dash on the right hand side (passanger side). You will have to remove the close out panel to access. The resistor you are looking for will be to the lower left of the fan motor at about the 7:00 position. Illustration is below.
let me know.
