Leaking from the front of bellhouseing

Gday mate, geoff here, there are 3 things that can leak there, 1st is coolant as there should be a freeze plug at the back of each cylinder bank in there.
2nd engine oil as there is a seal on the crankshaft and a plug at the back of the Cam tunnel, mostly if its engine oil it will be the crank seal.
3rd is gear/transmission oil, front seal on the gearbox if that is the case, also make sure that the oil isn't coming from the top and leaking down to look like its the bell housing leaking, as the valley cover and rocker covers extend back to just above the bell housing, hope this helps, geoff.

Is the crank pulley pressed on crank for a 93 ford festiva

remove the large bolt at the center of the crank pully and the bolts on the smaller pully and the warer pump pully put jack under oil pan, remove front upper engine mount and lower the jack this will allow you to remove the timing belt cover and then pry off the pully with a large screw driver

Hi i have a 1994 dodge caravan it is leaking oil can this be fix im worry that we would have to save money for a van for my kids thanks

The Chrysler minivan products all had leaking problems. I have had 5 or 6 different Dodge or Plymouth minivans from 88 to 99. How bad is it. The most common thing is Valve cover leaks. Front and rear seals in the engine leak as well as the oil pan gasket. If its leaking a little bit at a time open the hood and look at the front and rear of the engine. Do you see grease and oil that has gone down the sides of the engine? Do you see a lot of grease on the engine with some clean streaks going through it. You may be able to see where its leaking from. If you know someone that knows what their doing have them change the leaky gasket/s. If not you can probably have it repaired for less than buying another van unless other things are seriously wrong with the van.
Hope this helps... Dale

2002 Pontiac Sunfire GT. 2.2 Litre Ecotec Engine. Concern: Front Seal is leaking. Question: Does the engine need to be pulled to replace the seal?

No. The crankshaft pully can be removed through the right wheel well area. (This is the hard part) Once the pully is off, the seal is relatively easy to change.

How do you replace a gasket and cover for timing chain and rear seal gasket for oil pan on a 1978 Chevy 350 motor

the oil pan will need to be removed to repalce the rear seal, so replace the front seal and gasket then, replace the timing chain/gears if sloppy, then reinstall the oil pan.

My 2000 Ford Expedition has a major oil leak from somewhere around the Starter or Oil Filter housing, Looks like it's towards the front of the Motor, What could be leaking and how do I fix it?

Could be a number of things. Oil pan gasket, check around oil pan to see if its wet. Front crank seal could be leaking and blowing back if its bad enough. Check around and in behind your crankshaft pulley. I would also check your tranny cooler lines and power steering lines, if they are leaking bad enough the oil will get blown back when you drive. Also check to see how high up the engine the oil starts coming from that will give you some indication of where it starts.
