I need the original routing of the V-belts with power steering and air for a 1971 ford 302.

Im not 100 % sure if that combo will work but if you have any contacts with any classic car clubs and they have southern car models that had that option in 71 should steer you in the right direction

Which tectyl is suitable to protect an aluminuim radiator around salt water?( fitted to a 1971 landcruiser)

Because aluminum typically develops an oxide layer it is not necessary to coat it with anything. On both coasts cars and trucks are and have been used for many years with no thought of coating them. If anything the additional coating would probably just restrict some of the heat transfer to the air.

I keep asking the same question for a 1971 dodge 318-1 v8 engine and get every year but what im asking

The firing order for a Dodge 318cid/5.2L is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 clockwise rotation.
Cylinders are numbered like this.
Pass side 2-4-6-8 front to rear.
Driver side 1-3-5-7 front to rear.
The firing order is probably forged into the intake manifold. Number one tower on the distributor cap is the one facing the number one plug or the driver-side headlight.
Distributor rotor at Number 1 plug terminal points to front intake bolt on left side of engine.

I have an automatic triumph 2000,year 1972.when the gearbox & engine are cold the car runs perfectly but when you drive it for 4 miles the engine stops dead, when you go to start it up it starts but...

my kind of motor remember them well now two models here one the PI model and one with twin SU carbs ,also is this vehicle still fitted with points or has it had a electronic ignition fitted .If points then check the gap 15th and check the distributor rotor arm for sideways movement ,make sure the points heel has some grease on the cam and lift the rotor arm and their is a bit of sponge under it put a drop of oil on the sponge. If a carb model then it will have an electric petrol pump in the boot that clicks and these can play up when their hot ,best thing to do is drive it till it stops then test for a spark by pulling centre lead out of cap and holding it close to engine and see if you have a spark ,then answer this post ,if you have petrol injection model i still have my lucas manual on this system in the shed.6 cylinder inline engine rear wheel drive and goes like a racing car ,same engine as triumph vitesse ,nice motors in their time but they did suffer from corrosion badly ,i was always welding up cover sills on these cars and changing brake pipes .I prefered the MK4 zodiac
