If i give more tha half throttle it falls on its face

The 1st thing that needs to be done here is to scan the engine control unit for fault codes through the diagnostic port under the dash. Many discount auto parts stores will do the code check for free, Autozone is one that I know does it for free. Do Not take their advice, they are not trained in electronic engine control and will only cost you money and time.

The tumbler is probably worn. The best best is to leave as is or to visit your local automotive parts store to get a new one

Hot change a cracked head on a 350 vortec 5.7

my best advice is to buy a repair manual ,reason =there are so maney little things you'll need to know and torque spect. and one thing is that you may be able to remove just that head unless your doing both, its a little tricky but I ha e done it . manuals are about 20.00.

Remove the bed of the truck to get to the fuel line

I see this is an old question, but I thought I'd put my two cent worth in anyway. My first piece of advice...STOP! It's much easier to drain the fuel tank, unbolt the two straps and lower the tank to access the fuel feed and fuel return lines. You can do it by yourself if you make sure you've drained all the fuel first. I've done the job with no problems.
My second piece of advice... As long as you've got the tank down, go ahead and replace the two feet of rubber fuel hoses. It'll only cost a couple of buck and it will be one less thing to worry about down the road.
Good luck and Happy New Year,
Bill

Toyota hilux surf 1996 is this a silly ? is it heard of servicing your own vehicle? if so is it done in order

serviceing your own vehicle is a very good thing to do for many reasons , get your self a good workshop manual and this will tell you what the service intervals are , what each service entails as there are different service's required at different mileages etc , you will need some tools as well but the money you will save on labour costs will more than pay for these type of expenses , other repairs can also be done not just servicing, if you need help just post and i'll do my best to advice
