I used to find hard to find parts at Napa. Talk to the manager, and have the manager pull out the parts book/s. It won't be listed on their computers.

Linkage between Shift lever and transmission have a problem, and or their bushings, and or shift lever pivot. Sounds like your "reverse" is going into park instead of reverse.

HARD TO PUT INTO ANY GEAR WITHOUT FORCING IT AND WHEN FINALLY IN GEAR WOULD DRIVE FINE UNTILL STOPING AT A STOP LIGHT

The clutch is not disengaging all the way,the slave cylinder,or master for the clutch may be failing,or the pivot for the brake pedal has worn,or otherwise, the bushing in the pivot.

Cna i adjust athe clutch in a 1994 toyota pick-up

The linkage cable before the trans should have an adjustment nut on it. This controls the fork assembly movement. adjust the linkage to remove the pedal free play and this will also tighten the clutch.

Replace mechanical clutch linkage with hydraulic assist type

Below u will find a photo gallery link on the conversion of a 1983 Bronco, the parts are the same for a F150 click on each picture for dialog of what u are looking at, the only way to do this is to find the bell housing used on 1986 through about 1991, the reason is these years used a external type slave cylinder, u will need to find all the parts in the pictures from those model years at a salvage yard, pedal linkage, bell housing clutch release ford and all the brackets and bolts and spacers, the install is easy, u will need to drill some holes to mount the master but as far as the rest goes it is a swap out, the job will take about 12 hours to complete, buy the clutch slave and master new. expect to spend about $500 for the parts

allot of guys think this is a waste of time and it is not really that muich of an advantage to use a hydraulic set up, they all think the best conversion for the money is to an automatic trans.

Have a 1990 150 lariat 4x4 put new trans in,clutch, slave cyclinder, and clutch master cyclinder, still having problems with the clutch pedal being low, i bleeded the clutch several time but it won't come...

I assume that the master cylinder is correctly installed. In that case the master cylinder's piston rod (to which the pedal is attached) is too short or maladjusted.

My mazda is stuck in gear (2nd) and its not the clutch where is the linkage located and is it possible that a nut that connects the shifter inside the vehicle to the transmission down below is gone?

The linkage is basically a large rod that runs from the shifter to the trans with a bolt at each end like a universal pivot. They ususally get sloppy because the bushings wear out. But that would not make it where it would be stuck in gear. If you cant get it out of gear the trans may need to come apart.

Dodge pick up wiper repair

Check wiper arm where it fits to the shaft the nut may have come loose! if so reset the arm to its normal resting place & retighten!
if its ok then its more likely that it has come off its pivot under the csuttle panel
it may need a new pivot

Clutch Whine on Toyota 4WD Pickup

Bad bearings. Perhaps a throw out bearing. The pressure on it varies depending on whether your pushing on the pedal or not, and how much. If the noise occured only when the truck is moving, then I would say it is the input bearing. Changed alot of those years ago.
