SOURCE: Wipers fail intermittently

I own the same year and model truck, but haven't noticed that issue. I did own an '88 k2500 and had that problem. I know from my job experience that those particular trucks had an issue with the wiper motor ground path being faulty. You could check to make sure that the ground wire in the plug is actually "grounding", or the quick fix at least used to be, run a separate ground wire from the motor assembly to the body. There was also an issue with the control board on the motor, which I gather you've replaced. As I've mentioned I haven't encountered that issue with the later model trucks yet. Aside from the ground issue, it may be a faulty multifunction switch (turn signal lever/ wiper switch/ hazard switch assembly) I hope this helps.

SOURCE: front windshield wipers stall or work very intermittantly when on

It is likely that where the wiper arm is attached to the linkage  it is either loose or stripped.

Honda Accord Saloon 2001 Windscreen Wipers : Intermittent wipe no longer works - Goes on to normal wipe Wipers do not stop when shut down. - Require to turn off ignition to stop them

2 things.

1 bad connections on the motor itself under the skuttle panel below the window screen.

2 the stalk from the steering wheel is broken, they have small metal parts inside they sometimes come lose and stop working, just replace it.

2003 Envoy intermittent display, radio, ac control, shift, comp.

This sounds like your alternator maybe going bad. When your alternator starts to go bad lights such as headlights, radio lights will go dim wipers will start to move slower but if you cut one of the things off such as the wipers the lights will get brighter for a few minutes then not long the car will shut completely down. Hope this helps.

Wipers won't stop wiping.

Sounds like your intermittent wiper circuit is defective. Normally the intermittent feature is engaged by one of the functions on the multi-function switch (usually on the steering column). The circuit of the intermittent wiper periodically activates a relay that closes across the "Wiper On" switch. Your intermittent wiper circuit is likely defective and holding its relay closed (or the relay is stuck closed), thereby keeping the wipers on. Note: The wiper motor has an internal switch that opens when the wipers are in the park position and that is designerd to stop the wipers in the park position. When you turn on the wipers (or the intermittent relay is closed), the motor's internal switch is shunted such that the wiper does not stop at the park point of the cycle.

Wipers stay on

There are several possible causes, and maybe a fault code scan would help. You did not say whether the intermittent wipe and various speeds work - do they? In the meantime, check that the wiper stalk is in the correct position.
You could also try removing the front wiper relay to see if that stops them - if so get an auto electrician to try a replacement relay before buying it ;-)
and you could try removing the "rear" wiper fuse - yes rear, if your car has rear wipers. Then please let me know if any of these ideas had an effect! Well take it from there. Thanks, D
