I am having trouble removing the radiator from a 1997 caddy deville. I have done many other brands of cars and trucks with no problems however with this one I am stumped

Let the engine cool, remove radiator cap, start the engine let it warm up.
Make sure the radiator is full. Look in the radiator for a bubbling mist. that is the sign of a bad head gasket. Also caddies with aluminum blocks require special coolant.

I need to get a diagram or find location where the thermostat is on my sons 1999 caddy deville im going to replace it

Follow the top radiator hose to the engine. Remove that end of the hose and then remove the thing the hose connects to. The thermostat is behind that.

Where is the receiver located for a keyless remote on 1997 cadillac deville?

I believe it is located behind the glove box... I had an older Caddy and that's where that one was.

do the heater core coolant supply hoses both get hot at the firewall in the engine compartment? if yes then you have a defective temperature control blend door actuater motor.

My 1997 caddy is overheating i have replaced the radiator and the thermistat and hosses but it is still overheating after 2 miles

first check your thermostat make sure the spring is down toward the block,if thats ok I think you have a blown head gasket,I have seen some empellers on the water pump break up.I hope this helps you?

did you run a compression check? if so and its good then you have a blockage in the water jacket
if not then you have a head gasket leaking

If you have no heat it could be cause by an air pocket in the cooling system and the bubbling sound could be the antifreeze boiling
