What kind of door? Car door?

Assuming this is a house door, and this is mis-categorized, I sense you are concerned. First eliminate all physical possibilities from temp, pressure, wind, bad locks, animals (they are smart) and make sure it is not one of these. 99.9% of the time it is.
I have almost always found a physical answer to mysterious events. Our fears can play with us. Look for the physical answer. People lying that they did not open it, or forgetful. A camera is a good start.
    If not, do not fear.
Be at peace. These type of rare events are overcome by removing that in your life or somebody else's life that might invite this type of activity such as dark materials of thought, visuals, artifacts, practices like sin, drugs, or other behaviors. It could be something that happened in that house before. Ask the King of Kings to remove the problem in the name of the Crucified one, Jesus Christ. Get close to Him, get a bible and read. Ask for guidance. TFH.org
    Your door will stay closed.
This happened to me. Others will be angered by my answer, but this is my experience, not a theory. This is my testimony I am sharing with you. In my life I have found that God is real, get close to Him if you are bothered by the others. No need to reply.

Ok. If they turn on by them selves. Even at night when the key is removed from the vehicle it may be the day time running light sensor. But with the key out this should not happen. You may have an issue with your security system.

1998 Lumina lights don't work at night! The lights work during the day but not at night. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Theres a sensor in the middle of the dash by the front windshield that detects sunlight and triggers the automatic headlights. The main headlights and daytime running lights might be on a different circuit, in which case they daytime running lamps would turn off at night and the main headlights would turn on, indicating the main headlights arent working and the daytime running lamps are working as intended.

I would check all the fuses related to headlights, check the bulbs and check the switch, then last the light sensor on the dash.

My 2000 Toyota Corolla headlights will not turn on during the night, and stay on during the day

Your Corolla has daytime running lights (DRLs). A photocell determines whether it is day or night. Your DRLs turn on automatically in daytime without you operating the light control ("headlight") switch. Your DRLs are actually your headlights on low beam. At night, the photocell senses it is dark and disables the DRLs. When you set the light control ("headlight") switch to HEAD, the head relay closes and the headlights should turn on. Since they don't, I suggest opening the engine room junction block and checking the 40A MAIN fuse and the 10A LEFT HEAD (UPPER) and RIGHT HEAD (UPPER) fuses. In engine room relay block 5, check the 10A LH-LWR HEAD and RH-LWR HEAD fuses. Replace any blown fuses and the headlights should be working normally again

1997 lincoln town car sounds continuously, have pulled horn relay and security system will go off in the middle of the night - can reset with key fob. Is the problem a horn switch or clock spring?

this is most likely due to a defective door open/ajar sensor, it is not related to the horn pad/airbag, this happens during hot days from horn pad warping due to heat, have the driver door ajar switch replaced.

When you turn the lights on in the daytime (during rain) the console dims out. Honda accord, 2004

It's supposed to. The console is brighter during the day so that you can see it. At night, that same level of intensity is too bright. When you turn them on during the day, the car doesn't know whether it's day or night, so they get dimmer.
