I have a 1992 dodge spirit that the wipers quit working. The fuse was blown and every time I change fuse it blows when I turn on the ignition.

Try unplugging the wiper motor and see if it blows the fuse. If it doesn't, then your motor has an internal short and needs to be replaced.

Sounds like an alternator problem. Check belt to make sure it's tight, then have alternator tested.

I received diagnostic codes 12, 37, and 64 for a 1993 dodge spirit. what do they mean?

I can't seem to find code 12 but code 37 says it has to do with the Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid Circuit- Says there is probably a open or a short in the torque converter Clutch (TCC) in the solenoid circuit.

Code 64 Is stating that it has to do with the Flex Fuel Sensor reading high. The condition has to do with the Methanol Concentration sensor input is reading more than the maximum voltage that is acceptable.

The oil leak is a good clue, it gets into the connector and shorts the signal.

Remove radio

removing the radio is simple. 2 bolts and a couple screws. then ya can just pull it out. but getting an aftermarket radio to work, is another story. i just tried installing one for a family member, and i hooked up all the aftermarket wiring kit wires correctly, checked fuses and everything. cant even get it to turn on. :-(
good luck chum.

At the starter, clean the wire at the solinoid, that's the small wire. This is just a push on terminal on most models. That should get you baby crankin! Frankster016
