Your transmission is sealed and has no dip stick, checking the fluid level properly involves using a factory scan tool.

SOURCE: where do i put oil in my 1978 Chevy C10 pickup

If there's no oil cap directly on one of the valve covers (it may have a breather hose attached which connects to the breather element in the breather pan), then some models require adding oil through the dipstick. If this is the case, there should be a cap type dipstick instead of the standard "hook". There are 6 different motors (8 including variations) for your truck so no manual has the exact location of the oil cap. Best of luck and hope I answered your question.

SOURCE: Oil dip stick handle for Ford Focus ZX3 broke off.

Drill small hole in what's left inside the tube - insert bolt extractor - pull out dip stick. Material is relatively soft so drilling is easy. Buy new dip stick.

Knocking sound when starting up truck after sitting for a while

About the only thing you can try is to change the oil and filter to eliminate gasoline contaminated oil. Try starting it up and if the same noise persists, have a mechanic put a gauge on the oil sensor port to measure oil pressure with a analog gauge.
Excess bearing clearance will result in noise and allow oil to bleed down from the bearing caps. There are a few additives which are suppose to coat the engine parts and the coating is suppose to stay on overnight to prevent "dry" starts.
So if the oil pressure is low, the oil pump may be weak, but if the oil port tests normal, bearing clearance is excessive somewhere and the engine must be disassembled to find the worn part.

Consul camping fridge not starting

Do you have a model number for it? If it is a cqe22, It is a model i work on all the time. If it has been sitting for a while I recommend blowing out the burner. The flame may look blue but may be smaller than normal causing fewer BTUs resulting in not cooling properly. If it isn't cooling at all in the fridge or freezer the thermostat may be bad. If the freezer is cold but fridge is not check for level. It is very important on that brand of refrigerator. If it is level and freezer works and fridge doesn't, the unit on the back is probably blocked meaning it needs to be taken to a place that can recharge it. I have two sending units on the housing for the oil filter and the top sending unit started leaking real bad. This is on my 1987 S-10 Blazer 4X4 with a 2.8 V-6

Well, first off would be to replace the faulty sending unit so that the oil pressure will stabilize. Second, if I'm reading this correctly that you have no oil in the oil filter at all? If not, your oil pump could be quitting or it did quit. It's recommended not to start the truck until it can be checked for oil pump operation. Have the valves been chattering badly? The only 3 things that would prevent oil from getting to the oil filter are a blocked passage, a failed oil pump or no oil in the motor at all. When the oil guage has that fluctuation is when the pump is going out or again the engine has no oil or a leak so massive that the guage can't hold a stable reading. Good luck

Hii i am new here.i have a bmw 330i 2003.i bought it from one week and the light of the engine oil is flashing on and off and it disappear suddenly.i don't know the reason please can anyone helps me to...

Check the oil level,
Add if necessary.
You might even need an oil change due to a clogged oil filter.
If the car might have been sitting for a long time this could be the problem because the filter elements can dry up causing a incorrect flow of oil to occur.
At worst the oil pressure sending sensor cuold be bad but I highly doubt it.
If oil level is correct the oil change should be the best bet.
Good luck,Gary

Code 300 and 330 on 2001 Pontiac Grand Am

po330 is a bad knock sensor, the sensor will cause, sluggish engine, poor acceleration, poor fuel economy. the signal is sent to pcm and the timing is retarded to compensate for the severe detonition. on 4 cylinder models, the knock sensor is located on the rear firewall side of the engine block, below exhaust manifold.on v6 models , the sensor is located on the front radiator side of engine block above the oil filter.
