Question about Buick Cars & Trucks

The back seat interior overhead lights of my 2006 Buick Lucerne have begun to stay lit when I'm driving. Pushing on light does not turn it off. How to turn them off manually?

The Lucerne is a 6 cylinder. I have owned the car for a year and not noticed this problem until recently. When car is turned off and I exit the car, the lights will eventually go off after several minutes (estimate 10 minutes).

An inadvertent power feature that supplies voltage to all interior lamps after the ignition is turned OFF. The inadvertent power feature will deactivate all interior lamps after 10 minutes to prevent battery rundown.
Courtesy Lamps Manual Operation
The courtesy lamps can be manually turned ON by the IP dimmer switch. When the dimmer switch is placed in the DOME position, ground from G304 is applied through the dimmer switch and the courtesy lamp switch ON signal circuit to the BCM indicating the courtesy lamps ON request. In response to this signal, the BCM then applies battery positive voltage from the CTSY/RF TRN fuse through the courtesy lamp supply voltage circuit illuminating the courtesy lamps listed above. The courtesy lamps ON operation of the dimmer switch will override any BCM operation of the interior lamps already in progress.
Do you have the dimmer switch placed in the DOME position ?

If the rear light on the other side goes on and off by pushing on the light then i would say the switch in the one that stays lit it either stuck or broken and may need to be replaced. i think you could stop by a body shop and they would be able to do it for less money that a Buick dealer would.

My 2008 Buick Lucerne Super has a roof leak. The vehicle has a sun roof. Particularly during rains of long duration, water appears along the interior face of the upholstered columns to either side of...

The roof drain hose may have come off

You may have 4,one on each corner

Or they are clogged

Open the roof & look for drain holes to blow out

If the hose is off, you have to remove the sun visor
& any overhead console, to get the head liner down
& put hose back on

Heated seats not working .Light is working and fuse has not blown

If the light and the fuse are good then you probably have a open in one of the heated elements. You need to ohm the upper then the lower heater elements to see which one is bad.The connectors are under the seat.
