1989 nissan d21 2.4L pickup truck engine run like a misfire in more than one cylinder i check for a vaccum leak i havn't found one yet.
You can use a spark tester (on Amazon for $6)A timing light on each wire at a time or measure resistance of each wire.
You can also run a well insulated grounded screw driver along the running vehicles ignition wires and look for any sparks.Otherwise,if the wires are over 10 years old,replace them.On a cold vehicle that has a steady miss,start it and take the temperature of each exhaust port on the exhaust manifold with a lazer temp reader.When you find a cold exhaust port that's the cyl not doing any work.
