i think the wrong polarity of jump start has blown a electronic module more than likeley the engine control module you need to go to a person with diagnostic equipment for your vehicle to help sort this out. good luck!

Fast Turn Signals

I believe your aftermarket headlights have leds as your signal lights. They are now flashing faster because your electronic flasher module / unit is designed to measure current resistance to regulate the flash interval. As LED lights draw much less power than filament bulbs, the module thinks the lights are burnt out. Your hazards work on a timer to flash at intervals and does not work on the resistance.

You will need to replace the electronic flasher module / unit with one that is rated for LED. This unit should be under your dash near your steering column and will be labeled. The new one you replace it with should have LED stamped on it.

No spark at plugs . Engine won't start, check fuel first, getting plenty. Then check for spark, no spark.

Have you checked your plug wires to see that are tight? The plug wire may need replaced.

I think you may have lost communication with the GEM module. Only dealer can reestablish.
Generic Electronic Module (GEM) Removal and Installation
  1. s2h~us~en~file=ani_caut.gif~gen~ref.gif CAUTION: Prior to removal of the module, it is necessary to upload module configuration information to the appropriate diagnostic tool. This information needs to be downloaded into the new module once installed. For additional information, refer to Section 418-01 .
s2h~us~en~file=ani_caut.gif~gen~ref.gif CAUTION: Electronic modules are sensitive to static electrical charges. If exposed to these charges, damage may result.

Module Controlled Functions NOTE: Prior to removal of the generic electronic module (GEM), it is necessary to upload module configuration information to the diagnostic tool. This information needs to be downloaded into the new module once installed. For additional information, refer to Section 418-01 .
NOTE: Electronic modules are sensitive to electrical charges. If exposed to these charges, damages may result.
The generic electronic module (GEM) is the only multi-function module on this vehicle.
The GEM constantly monitors its subsystems for concerns. If a concern is found in one of the subsystems, the GEM will record the concern in the form of a diagnostic trouble code (DTC).
The ignition switch position is very important to the GEM functionality Erratic or unexpected GEM functions can often be traced to problems with these GEM inputs.
The GEM controls a variety of systems:
  • instrument cluster warning indication and chimes
  • interior courtesy lamp control
  • automatic headlamp control
  • daytime running lamps (DRL)
  • wiper and washer (front only)
  • heated rear window
  • one-touch down power window
  • delayed accessory
  • power door locks (including SMART, autolocking and luggage compartment lid release)
  • remote keyless entry
  • perimeter anti-theft

Key will not turn in the lock/non start

Hi

I take it you mean it will not turn the steering lock ?

If so, try turning the steering wheel sharply to the left, and then to the right, whilst operating the ignition key to the start position.

I hope this is of assistance to you.
Let me know if this does not help.
Good Luck !
John.
