The diff fluid is only changed if the diff needs repair, or if you suspect water has entered it, check it on a regular basis for leaks and if you think water has gotten in through the vent.

VTM 4 is a traction control system designed for better traction and fuel efficiency. I'd get it back to the dealer ASAP. There seems to be a coil malfunction in the rear axle. I'd make them fully check out the rear axle in addition to checking out the coil sensors themselves. Best of luck to you!

You don't. You only use diff lock when traveling in a virtually straight line, otherwise you scrub your tires out. slight deviations are fine, but only use it when you need it in snow, ice or mud.
