The holding tank is leaking. Can that part be replaced?

if there no leak detected that means the radiator cap is not holding the pressure, that cause the coolant to travel to the expansion tank and flood out, then when engine cool down, it will suck the coolant back to the radiator and leave the refill tank empty.

The tank is under the front wheel arch. The best way is to remove wheel and splash guards and you will be able to access the tank from the engine bay and the wheel arch. Check first that the leak is not from where the pipe connects to the screen wash pump or the grommet that holds the pump in place in the tank. these would seem more likely than a split tank. The pump justs twists out of the grommet - its tight but not impossible to remove and replace if the pump has a fault on its body or pipe cionnections.

The fuel pump for this car is electric and is located inside the fuel tank, so you have a leaking fuel line, when the pump is running you have a leak, when the engine is shut off the pressure goes away and no leak.

I'm going to assume you have a engine mounted mechanical pump? If the pump leaks fuel, nothing you can do except replace it. Many pumps not only leak externally but will leak into the engine oil as well. If you have injection, the pump is inside the tank and it cannot leak.
If the tank is leaking, you will need to buy a replacement tank. (most glues etc. won't hold on a tank and generally where there is one hole you will find many more).

I suggest that you put it back together, clean it, and pressure test the cooling system. Needs to hold 13 to 15 psi. THEN look for leaks.

Each tank hold about 17gal. For the leak, first a thorough visual inspection. If no leak is found remove the plastic shield. And give it one more good lookin over. If STILL no leak is found, you can purchase a UV dye additive that will highlight the point of puncture under a UV light.

i would check the plastic pipes which run from the canister to the fuel tank ,these are usually located behind the fuel tank

drain all the fuel you can from the tank, SAFELY using proper saftey equipment, place the vehicle on jack stands, disconnect the battery, place a jack under the tank, remove fuel cap, remove 3 screws holding filler neck to the inside of fuel filler door compartment, remove tank straps, remove driveshaft, lower tank slightly & remove fuel neck, wires, fuel couplings, lower tank & remove from vehicle. Carefully remove locking ring from the tank where it holds down the fuel pump asy, remove pump asy & replace components as needed, reassemble, check for leaks, road test vehcile

there should be two straps holding the tank in place,,,,if you remove them the tank should drop down to where you can disconnect the feeder hose and go from there

You must remove from it's mount and empty out any fluids that is in tank.fill the tank with water and locate where the leak is coming from. wash tank a few times and the let dry upside down. Get some sand paper (80  grit course) and sand area where leak is, clean area with a vacume or clean rag.you can buy a 2 stage epoxy that comes in an injection form and squeeze it out on a pc of paper and then get a q-tip and mix the 2 components together, fill the crack or hole generously with the q-tip, if you have to,let dry for 24 hours and mix more and put more on. let dry another 24 hours, replace tank back in it's place and you've solved your leak. (epoxy does wonders if its used properly.
