SOURCE: Radiator

the upper rad hose goes from the rad to the thermostate housing. this hose is @2-21/2" the lower hose same size goes from lower rad to water pump. There is a 5/8 hose from water pump to thermostate housing called bypass hose. and you have two hoses from water pump and intake to the heater core. hope this helps if not let me know thanks

I have a problem with my ve ss losing coolant took rad cap off fill up and the coolant runs straight out near the overflow

meant to do that
see what fitting a new cap does

my guess you are filling the radiator part up too much

leave it a bit low for expansion and to let fluid re-enter from the overflow by the radiator cap

Radiator cap

The parts of the cap that are supposed to turn together have come loose. The bottom part is riding freely under the rim of the radiator fitting. You need to remove the whole thing and replace it, obviously. Some suggestions for removal include pushing down from the top of the cap HARD while you turn it counterclockwise. Gently bending up one edge of the top of the cap with a pair of plyers to see if you can see the locking pins under the outer edge of the radiator fitting and then prying one of them up...

1999 Honda Civic LX Stalling/Overheating!!!

(I don't know much about cars so bear with me).

I've had problems of overheating previously where my car's thermostat would hit 140. I think I've fixed the issue, I've replaced the thermostat but it was still doing that and 2 hoses blew and needed to be replaced. I've had to consistently fill my radiator with 50/50 antifreeze on a daily basis to ensure it won't overheat, so far that seems to be keeping the peace.

But now as of 5 days ago, I'm experiencing these new issues of stalling. Upon taking my civic into my mechanic, his meter showed that there was a misfire in the 2nd cylinder a month prior and now all 4 are misfiring. He thought it was the head gasket at first. I had just recently replaced the spark plugs with NGK Platinums, new spark plug wires and a new distributor cap.

I've received many possible culprits to my problem consisting of possibly the Throttle Position Sensor, Fuel Filter/Injection, Distributor or a radiator cap. I'm financially strapped at the moment and only could afford the radiator cap which didn't solve anything, however my radiator is running on 80% water at the moment. I'm really at a loss and I feel like I've done what I could and I'm at my wits end. Please help my poor little Civic cheat death for a little longer.

Where can I find a diagram for the low pressure ac port for a 1999 ford expedition

There are 2 hoses that come off of condensor in front of radiator. 1 is high side, has large cap on top goes to a/c compressor. The other is low side it, it goes toward firewall into or on the receiver dryer (looks like big can) You will find the charge fitting there. It is a smaller fitting usually blue or black cap on it.
