start your cr-v and let idle for 10 or so seconds in park. shut it off and check the fluid with in 30 seconds. if you check the fluid running it will read low and get overfilled. level ground is also important.

i doubt it. is it a random cylinder misfire or isolated to certain cylinders? if random, check for vacuum leaks, hook it to a scanner if you have one and check fuel trim. might need some alcohol or nerve medication to get through this one, misfires can be tough.if isolated, suspect fuel injector if plugs and wires are new. might want to check compression on dead holes

The filter is attached to the top of the fuel pump. It can be accessed by pulling back the carpet in the rear storage area and removing an access panel

You got ignition system wet, remove the distributor cap and check for water, i bet you will find it wet. you will need to dry it out even by using a hair dryer to dry it out, then try to start it. i would let it run for a while with hood open to allow moisture to flow out from under the hood to avoid other components from getting wet. let me know the out come good day.
