SOURCE: I need the torque spec for the axle and the axle

Go to the autozone.com website and register there. It doesn't cost anything and you will have access to an online repair manual for the vehicle. (Kinda handy) They have a specification section, so the torque specs might be found there. Hope this helps and best wishes.

SOURCE: Replaced rear axle pinion bearing and seal, need

There is no torque specs, this nut has to be tightened back like it was ,the best thing to do,was,to late now,is to use a torque wrench to remove the nut,and remember the torque, and when replacing it,torque it back to that spec, the reason being, there is a crush sleeve between the front pion bearing ,and the rear pinion bearing, and it has to be crushed to a certain amount,to aquire deepness into the ring gear, anyway just give it about 25 lbs torque, any more the crush sleeve will crush even more and the deepness of the pinion will be too much.

Torque specs axle nut

Most people don't own a torque wrench that goes past 150 lbs
& you can't push it that far

So if the nut was say 180 or 206 you have to stop at 140 & then
use a 3 foot 3/4 drive bar or ratchet & go another 1/8 turn.

Google the question,should be there

How do you install front hub assembly on 2008 nissan altima?

The torque spec is way more than any torque wrench
you will own

All you can do is get it as tight as possible with a very long
ratchet

The spec are from180 to 230 lbs on some axle nuts

I have a problem with my cv joint nut on my car as I cannot remove it from the wheel. I use a 32mm socket but its stuck. Is there something I can do to release the tension on the nut to remove it?

Theres usually a cotter pin that you have to remove from the nut. It goes through the middle of the nut and through the drive axle.

If you removed the cotter pin and the nut still wont come off, spray some WD-40 or
penetrating lubricant on it. Give the wd-40 a few minutes to work its way into the threads. Put the ratchet or a breaker bar with socket on the nut and hit the handle of the ratchet with a rubber mallet, or just a regular hammer if you dont have a rubber malet. A breaker bar would be better. Just a quick, hard blow that breaks the nut loose before the axle turns.

How do I rgerplabe how do I replace a front wheel bearing?

TO REMOVE FRONT WHEEL BEARING.YOU NEED TO SAFELY RAISE SUPPORT VECHICLE ON JACK STANDS.MAKE SURE SITTING ON LEVEL SOLID GROUND.BEFORE RAISING VECHICLE OFF GROUND YOU NEED TO LOOSEN HALF SHAFT AXLE NUT JUST A LITTLE BECAUSE WHEEL IN THE AIR HARD TO LOOSEN AXLE NUT WHEN YOU HAVE HOLD THE WHEEL WHILE LOOSEN THE AXLE NUT WHICH IS TORQUE ON ABOUT 200 FT LBS.USING A SIX POINT AXLE SOCKET SOCKET SIZE COULD BE 34 OR 35 METRIC 1/2 INCH SOCKET.YOU NEED 1/2 INCH BREAKER BAR.ONCE YOU LOOSEN AXLE NUT A LITTLE THEN RAISE VECHICLE THEN REMOVE WHEEL.THEN FINISHING REMOVING AXLE NUT AND WASHER.THEN REMOVE THE CALIPER FROM THE STEERING KNUCKLE AND SUPPORT IT ASIDE USING A PIECE OF WIRE.REMOVE BRAKE ROTOR.THEN REMOVE THE 3 HUB BEARING ASSEMBLY BOLTS. USE A SWIVEL SOCKET GOING TO BE HARD TO REACH SPOT WITH A REGULAR SOCKET. REMOVE THE HALF SHAFT FROM THE HUB BEARING ASSEMBLY.REMOVE HUB AND BEARING ASSEMBLY. PUT EVERY THING BACK VISA VERSA. TORQUE HUB BEARING BOLTS TO 70 FT LBS. TORQUE AXLE NUT 284 FT LBS IF YOUR CAR IS 1998 MODEL AND TORQUE AXLE NUT 100 FT LBS FOR THE 1999 TO 2001 MODELS.THE WHEEL HAS TO BE ON THE GROUND JUST ENOUGH TO KEEP IT FROM TURNING.DONT LET ALL THE CAR WEIGHT DOWN UNTIL YOU HAVE TORQUE WHEEL TO THE RIGHT TORQUE.LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS.

Front wheel bearing assembly unit, what tools will i need? size sockets ext the right foot lbs of torque for the axel nut,

TOOLS YOU NEED IS 35 METRIC SOCKET FOR AXLE NUT.USE 6 POINT SOCKET.DONT USE 12 POINT SOCKET.COULD DAMAGE AXLE BOLT EDGES.MAKING IT HARD TO GET OFF.YOU NEED A TORQUE WRENCH WITH THE RANGE OF 200 FT LBS TORQUE.YOU NEED 1/2 BREAK BAR.AND A HUB PULLER.NOW TO LOOSEN AXLE NUT.BEST TO LEAVE TIRE ON WITH CAR WEIGHT ON GROUND TO LOOSEN THE AXLE.BECAUSE ITS GOT 192 FT LBS TORQUE.HARD TO LOOSEN WITH TIRE OFF.192 FT LBS TORQUE IS WHAT YOU TORQUE IT AT.BESURE TO READ INSTRUCTIONS TO NEW HUB BEARING ASSEMBLY. YOUR AXLE NUT TORQUE WILL BE DIFFERENT IF YOU GET A NEW GREY NUT.BECAUSE NUT STRENGHT WILL BE DIFFERENT.IF YOU GET A BLACK NUT WHICH IS HARDER STEEL TORQUE WILL BE 192 FT LBS.YOU NEED A 13 METRIC SWIVEL SOCKET TO GET HUB BEARING BOLTS OFF THEY WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE TO REACH WITH OUT IT.HUB BEARING BOLTS TORQUE IS 62 FT LBS
