Orange engine light is on the deshboard toyota fortuner 2006 model

I strongly suggest you check in your vehicle handbook for the exact meaning of the light.

Mostly, with few variations, it means something has gone wrong with the electronic emission control and the engine management system has logged the fault and switched to a get-you-home preogramme.

Lots of people don't bother too much about such things as long as the engine still runs but in some places ignoring the light can get the driver fined.
Certainly the tailpipe emissions are likely to be high, perhaps the performance lower and fuel consumption higher and it will be shortening the life of the oxygen sensors and cat converter.

Most handbooks will tell you the light means "proceed to your nearest dealer".

P0046 fault code for toyota fortuner

Diagnostic Test Code (DTC) P0046 is defined by SAE J2012 as "Turbocharger/Supercharger Boost Control "A" Circuit Range/Performance".

Please note that this is a CIRCUIT code. This means that the electrical circuit for your boost control is not operating within its designed "window of operation". The circuit must be properly diagnosed to determine the actual CAUSE of this code setting.

Specific vehicle/circuit information, as well as proper testing equipment and techniques will be required.
