is this a supper cahrged grand prix if so check fuel pump resistor located behind right front head light or on fire wall its made of white ceramic has to wires going to it jump the two wire on the connection going to it if it runs longer then 15 min then replace resiustor.

Had the same problem with 1999 Quest - turns out that the distributor was going until it finally died. It stuttered andf kept shutting off when driven about 20 miles or so. Would start normally when cooled and off again when hot. But yours could be a different problem; not sure.

My wife's when hers did this, I tried changing mant things, I finally after playing name that part, I found it was the TFI, replaced it and I no longer had the issue. It was the same way in description. She has not had the problem since.
