Probably a short or loose connection between battery and starter motor, or on either end of cables. Id look there before swapping out starter. On cold days you might put a heater under car for a few hours before using it,do this carefully as to avoid a car fire, or look into a block heater for your engine.

Check that the oxygen sensor wasn't knocked off or not replaced. Its located within the first 2 foot of the exhaust from the engine.Hope this helps

Testimonial: "Thanks...no check engine lite and maybe that sensor next to the flange got knocked with the rachet while removing old flange...the old gasket removed "
Have the battery tested at the local auto parts dealer. you may have a dead cell. the radio and lights will work fine because they do not require that much voltage. The colder it is the harder it is on the battery and the more juice the process will require. At the same time the battery will have less to offer the colder it gets. If one of the cells is dead you are not going to have enough power to turn that frozen engine over.

these cars are carburated motors and need around 10 minutes to warm up because they operate at higher temperatures.
