Question about Cars & Trucks
Is timing set before tdc or after?
Most static settings are 10 degrees btdc
timing lights will be at the 10 degree btdc mark
the workshop manual will have the manufacturers specs but timing can be changed to suit the octane rating of the fuel used but even that is limited to one or 2 degrees either side of the 10
