The starter could be bad, or one of the many safety switches could be broken. At minimum, There is a switch under the seat, one connected to the brake pedal, and one connected to the mower deck lever. The idea is that the mower won't start unless there is a person in the seat, the brake is pressed, and the mower deck is all the way up.

I'll check for fuse in the morning. So it might not be battery. Just the fuse? Safety switches??? I'm sorry I don't know where these are ?

I charged my batterie because it was dead from winter storage and as soon as it was charged and put back on I have had nothing but troubles with my alarm system going off even when driving, what is the...

I would have the battery tested to see if it has a dead cell first . Some times this will happed especasly if its over 4 or 5 years old and if it was left on a cement floor during storage witch will conduct electricty and damage the battery If the cells are OK in the battery then start checking the connections to the battery bolth posivite and negitive to the battery . If it worked before storage there is realy no reason it shouldn't work after storage . Also look for mice damage the little bastards will eat anything in the winter including the jackets off your wires so look for signs of then Good luck with it

Triumph tr6 shows excess charging even at idle. It started without problem after being in storage for the winter, but after one week of sitting the charge had run out and I put it on a trickle charge all...

could be one of two problems ,firstly the battery has a cell on the way out ,or the voltage regulator ,i would plump for the battery first by doing a heavy duty drop test and see if a cell gasses up .or put another battery on from another vehicle and see what happens ,if its still teh same renew the regulator

I left the battery in my car over the winter due to me not using the car so I would like to know if you think the battery will hold a charge

that depends on the age of the battery, if it is only a few years old start with a low charge, if that doesn't work after a few hours u will need to replace the battery.

Won't start after winter in garage with fuel stabiliser

your battery is dead. The electric clicking is a telltale sign that the battery is weak or depleted and does not have enough juice to turn over the starter. This is extremely common when the car is left to sit for an extended period without being used.

the clicking you hear is the starter solenoid trying to engage the starter, but the battery is to weak to do so.

There are a couple solutions. First you can get a set of jumper cables and jump the s2000 with anther battery. Once the car is running the battery will alutomatically begin to recharge.

the second is to buy and use whats called a trickle charger or 'battery tenderizer' this is a small device that you plug into the car and it will automatically keep the battery charged over extended periods of time without the risk of over charging the battery. If you use one of these it will also slowly charge yoru current battery enough overnight for it to work in the morning.

2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse won't start in the winter...(15,000km)

Try using a fuel treatment. Sometimes water builds up in the lines and makes it hard for the car to start cuz you can't combust something thats frozen... I'd recommend Lucas Fuel Treatment... either that, or maybe new spark plugs, though if the dealer thought they were fine, I don't think that's the case.

The battery may need to be replaced, the battery is not holding a charge or you didn't run car long enough. Try boosting again and let the car run for about 1/2 an hour to 1 hr. Then try to start the next day. If it doesn't start you will need a new battery. Even when you don't drive this vehicle especially in the winter time you should start this car and let it run for about 10 minutes once every week. Good Luck contact me if you need more help
