Question about Ford Explorer
As I'm driving my '94 4.0L 4WD Explorer down the highway, it vehicle will start to lose power, and lose rpm's for a few moments, I slowly pump the gas and the rpm's return to normal. This happens about ever 5-10 Kms. Thinking maybe the fuel pump is getting weak, already changed the filter and switched the fuel pump relay fuse, and they weren't the problem.
Shouldn't cost much for 10 minutes work to test fuel pressure & confirm pump condition, but do it when vehicle 's been running for a while, long enough for pump to get heated up.
