Try turning key on and off a few times before you crank it. If that helps, check your fuel system. My info for fuel pressure on 3.1L engine, key on engine off, 40.5--47 psi, use a fuel pressure gage to check.

Technically if you have spark and enough fuel pressure it should run.
What is the fuel pressure at the rail ?
Have you checked the cap and rotor ?

1999 gmc 4.3l won't start

P0147 Heater circuit malfunction bank 1 sensor 3
P0452 Evap spressure system low.
P1345 This is the main problem your solution is a whole new distributor, dont bother trying to retartd or advance the timing it wont start and if you do get it to start it will just sputter, you going to have to remove the camshaft and install a new one.

1999 CHEVY LUNINA WON'T START BATTERY AND

Check the dash once you turn the key to the run position the passlock runs a security check using a set resistance value through the chip in the key. If the security light begins to flash the reading it received was incorrect or it didn't get a reading at all. You can try reseting the value it is looking for by turning the key to start then releasing it. After 10 minutes turn it off then cycle it start again leaving it in on for 10 minutes then back to off then one more time. After the third cycle has completed for a total of 30 minutes. You should be able to turn the key on and start the vehicle. If the light continues to flash their is a problem with the chip in the key or the connections within the ignition its self. Both are common but a Pass Lock Relearn as described above will usually adapt to the poor connection values. Hope this helps.

My 95 chevy lunina want start cause the security light is flashing on and when i turn the key it want do any thing

Good Evening, this is a common problem with the early gm anti-theft systems. What I need you to do is go out to your car and try to start it. Then when it does not start leave the key forward in the on position for 11-15 minutes until the security light goes off, then shut the car off and start it up (it will start). If it does not try it a couple more times and you will get it running. What that does is it relearns your key again so the security system will recognize the resistor pellet and allow it to start. Hope this helps.

Takes time to start up a 1999 Ford Pick Up Ranger

Check the MAP sensor and the fuel pressure at the shredder valve. Before you try to start the engine, cycle the ignition 3 times to the run position for 10 seconds apart and then try starting the car. You may be lossing the fuel pressure prime. Good luck and keep me posted, be glad to hlep.

Sounds like a fuel problem, when was the last time the fuel filter was chg.? If that is not an issue, than a fuel pressure test is in order, It should have around 48 to 50 p.s.i.
