Jd 855 radiator screen

I am looking for the front radiator mesh screen box that is on front of 855,655,755 or 955. I think any of those will fit. I could also use just the mesh screen material.

I have dismantled a Seagull outboard,it is all assembled except the bottom end where the propeller is. I had it together but the gearing did not mesh and the shaft moved back and forward 3 or4 mm.I found...

Look up Saving Old Seagulls and IGNORE the rubbish that some jokers have posted (Seagulls don't have an engine check light!) Most Seagulls have constant mesh gearing. Lubrication is by 140 grade gear oil. If you cannot get this, ST90, EP90 or Hypoy 90 will do, the important thing is to use a heavy oil NOT GREASE not even the semi-fluid grease used on weed-wackers (they have ball bearings but a Seagull has bronze bushes) The "clutch" on some Seagulls is basically a fork which puts the gears out of mesh, there are no clutch plates. Good luck!.

Where is purgevilve is on a 2003 chryler town country

Open the hood. As your standing in front of the vehicle look on the passenger side just in front of and slightly below the air cleaner box kind off by the radiator and directly behind the headlamp. There will be a single connector and two vacuum hoses that share the same rubber fitting attached to it.

Were is the radiator drain plug?

Somewhere around the bottom there. Hard to find on some. Look for a little ring-shielding fitting along bottom side (usually on engine side). Draining it? Some people just pull off the lower radiator hose from radiator. Messy, but effective.I've heard of some radiators without a drain plug, but think yours would have one.

How do I remove the radiator from a 1986 buick century 2.5 engine?

This is a mechanical job and can be worked out according to the tools available at your end with the ground experience. The radiator is normally bolted in the front chassis which fits the front grill and merges with the front side panels. You need to remove the grill if access if to be efffective . so start from the front grill fitting and you will get access to the side fittings of the radiator which can be removed. The connecting hoses on the top and bottom must be carefully removed and hoses removed finally to lift up the radiator.

My experience with A/C Condensors is that you can take it to a Radiator Shop that welds aluminum and they can repair it by welding the hole closed. I had it done twice on my truck's condensor and it works great. To try and resolve the problem you can put some fine mesh screen in front of the condensor to keep debris from puncturing it.

Can you help with instructions on how to install a mesh grill and spoiler on a 2003 X Type Jaguar..... Thank You

i have fitted an "admesh" brand mesh grille and spoiler on my fathers 2004 X type.

the mesh in the spoiler would have just fitted over the existing plastic grille using the supplied clips, if the original grille had not been damaged. i just removed unscrewed the original grille and fitted the mesh one using the same fittings.

for the main grille, i removed the grill from the car (4 screws) and cut out the centre plastic vanes before fitting the new mesh one to it using the supplied clips. i then screwed the whole unit back in place. it took about 1 1/2 hours from start to finish for both mesh grills.
the instructions were quite clear and most helpful.

i do not know which kit you have so do not know specific fitting instructions, but as far as i am aware, most kits would fit in a simillar way and should not be to difficult to fit with a little care.

Difficulty in gear selection

Drain your transmission fluid (24mm drain plug) and refill with a GL4 rated transmission oil such as REDLINE MTL or MT90 (filler plug is the 17mm nut on the front of the transmission). 3000gts have copper synchro mesh plates that are eaten up by regular transmission fluid. When you drain your fluid, check to look for metallic particles, you are probably destroying your synchro mesh. Change fluid and run it in.
