How to get rear seatbelts to release on 2006impala

force the button down hard with a piece of wood ior something or even pour very little rubbing alcohol in the opening to break up sticky soda etc. etc. away. if youre talking about theyre locked in place and wont come out more then it sounds as if the unit needs replaced as the glass pack inside has discharged which locks them in place, this usually happens in a wreck.

How to change front wheel studs on 98 hilux

I suppose the best way to remove the old studs would be with a press. Remove the disc, and press out the old studs. They come out the back side. If you don't have a press, use 2x4's on underside of disc. Using a hammer to tap the old studs out. If you are not good with a hammer, place a piece of hardwood on top of the stud, and hit the wood. You don't want to bang on the disc.

Belt routing on my Olds 98 LSS. It looks like I

on the v6- 3.1 yes you do. here is how to change it yourself, first of all, release tension on the belt tensioner. remove belt from pulleys, place a floor jack under engine on motor mount side to take off. put a piece of wood on jack to protect engine. jackup to engine with very slight pressure to hold it while removing mount. take off mount, remove old belt, put new belt on. the tensioner can be moved with a 3/8 drive in tensioner hole. after belt is on replace mount. then lower jack down. thats it!!

Toyota manual windows..very sticky..

The 'sticky' windows can be caused by:

1) Dead windows seals rubber that are no longer flexible and can break down to the point of being sticky rubber: replace the seals or as a temporary solution rub a bar of wet soap on the seals where the windows slide against.

2) Lack of lubrication in the windows winder mechanism: you will need to remove the doors handles & internal covering panel to get to the gears located in the doors cavity where the windows slide in.

Hope it helps!

How do I replace the LED third brake light on a 2001 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer?

there are 2 set screws in the ends of the light, remove these 2 screws, open hatch and look where the wire runs pull rubber grommet seal and disconnect wire at connector, careful that other end does not pull back in, i tie string on it before disconnecting so i cant loose connector inside. then close hatch and carefully pull up 3rd light (it is held by double sided sticky tape) clean surface with wd40 and then windex to remove goo from old tape put wire through on new 3rd light and connect wires, peal covers off sticky tape align press down and replace screws. suggest ordering 3rd light from internet it is lot cheaper than GM

Stereo installation

There are 2 types of wood trim on the s-class. One is a solid piece and the other is split in the middle. Remove the ac pushbutton panel, remove the shifter trim and remove the cigar lighter insert. If it is a solid panel, then you will unscrew two screws underneath where the ac panel was and I believe that with the ac panel out of the way you can reach in and pull the radio head out. If you need to remove more, then be very careful with the wood-very costly. If it is the split wood, look for a screw on the back of the cigar lighter wood trim(you've already removed the insert, right). You need a 1/4 in. ratchet with a screwdriver bit to access. You only need to loosen it up and slip it off. With the wood out of the way, look for two hidden screws on the inside front edge of the center console wood panel-right behind the wood cover you just removed. These will have to come out as well. Once they are out, pull up gently on the front of the rear wood panel(around the shifter) and slip out, There are likely two more screws underneath this panel. Take them out to remove upper wood trim.
