Back hatch won~t open with remote or inside door locks will open manually nothing stuck or jammed?

Found this wiring diagram for lift gate, if that is what we're talking about? Not only check the fuses, check fuse circuit for voltage. Use a testlite.

Rear wiper stopped

Do you know how to use a volt meter ? Need to check for voltage at the motor ! , need a wiring diagram. Most of the time other people on here will tell you to check the fuse's , that doesn't end up being the cause ! Most of the time it's the motor or a wiring problem ! I have seen the wire in side the rubber boot ,when you open the rear hatch break causing a no power situation to the motor . If you open the rear hatch ,door ,lift gate , what ever you call it . If you look when it is open there is a rubber boot connecting the body to the door , there are wires in side . There have been known to break ! This next part is a FORD pinpoint test. This is how ford says how to check !
PINPOINT TEST B: THE WIPERS ARE INOPERATIVE - REAR WINDOW Test Step Result / Action to Take B1 CHECK CIRCUITS CBP43 (GY) AND SBP19 (BU/RD) FOR VOLTAGE
  • Key in OFF position.
  • Disconnect: Rear Wiper Motor C476.
  • Key in ON position.
  • Measure the voltage between rear wiper motor C476-3, circuit CBP43 (GY), harness side and ground; and between rear wiper motor C476-4, circuit SBP19 (BU/RD), harness side and ground.
    >
  • Are the voltages greater than 10 volts?
Yes
GO to B2 .

No
VERIFY SJB fuse 43 (5A) and fuse 19 (25A) are OK. If OK, REPAIR the circuit(s) in question. TEST the system for normal operation. B2 CHECK CIRCUIT GD150 (BK/WH) FOR OPEN
  • Key in OFF position.
  • Measure the resistance between rear wiper C476-1, circuit GD150 (BK/WH), harness side and ground.
    >
  • Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
Yes
GO to B3 .

No
REPAIR the circuit(s) in question. TEST the system for normal operation. B3 CHECK THE MULTI-FUNCTION SWITCH
  • Key in OFF position.
  • Disconnect: Multi-function Switch C202.
  • Carry out the multi-function switch component test. Refer to Wiring Diagrams Cell 149 for schematic and connector information.
  • Did the multi-function switch pass the component test?
Yes
GO to B4 .

No
INSTALL a new multi-function switch. REFER to Section 211-05 .

Whatcani do no power to fuel pump

Helps to know what you are working on, but generally you have two fuses, a relay, perhaps a roll over switch and sometimes a ASD circuit. You need a wiring diagram and then trace voltage path.

Repairing a converter clutch solonoid circuit stuck on

The TCC solenoid is inside the transmission.. It is controlled by the computer .. which takes singles from the heat sensor, the speed sensor, the brake sensor. Its job is to increase fuel mileage by reducing slipping in the converter.. You need to check the wiring plug at the trans and see if it has a single from the computer keeping the TCC engaged... OR is it a mechanical problem with the solenoid.. Then you can trace which circuit is causing this OR if the solenoid is defective.. Hope for the solenoid.Post a comment and let us know what you find..

High beams wont come on !!

What relay's an fuse's ? open and close circuit test to the bulb connectors ??????? Voltage testing with a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter !
B+voltage going into the multifunction switch ? Fuse F2.59 7.5 amp located in the central junction box . Green with red trace goes to mulitifunction switch (high beam ) pin #6 , Pin#7 multifunction switch green with yellow trace goes to control (energize ) High beam relay . Control side high beam relay grounds at G103 ! High beam relay located in the battery junction box . Do you know how to test for B+ voltage ? Forget this open and close circuit test . Voltage drop testing is the correct way to test a electrical circuit , the circuit has to be energized .
Do you know what a wiring diagram is ? Did you view a wiring to know what you were testing ? If know ,you can't say you have a compleat circuit. Free wiring diagrams here http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html Enter vehicle info ,under system click on lighting ,then under subsystem click on Head lamps . Click the search button then the blue link . Using a volt meter test .

Headlights wont work

According to my wiring diagram, the headlight switch works a relay which is powered by two different fuses.
I would check the relay for voltage first.
You may need a repair manual to trace the circuits.

I just repaired a 2002 Aztek with a non working hatch. It was bad solonoid motors that were not releasing the latches.it is a fairly hard job to access the latches to release the hatch so you can get to the solonoids. You have toy crawl into the back of the vehicle and remove the bolts that hold the latch hooks. Once you have done this the glass top of the hatch will open. you can then use a screwdriver to reach down through the internal part of the latch and release it so you can access the bolts to disasemble the hatch to get to the solonoid motors. This is not a job a novice mechanic should atempt. It should be done by an experienced mechanic with the proper tools.
