SOURCE: 1994 toyota 22re 4x4 pickup fuel injector wiring diagram

the color of the plastic plug does not matter... You will have two injector plugs with white/red and yellow wires - those two go to cyl#'s 1 and 3.
the other two plugs will have white and blur wires.. those two plugs go to injectors # 2 and 4.

1978 EVENRUDE 35HP KEY SWITCH WHAT WIRES CAN I JUMPER AT THE SWITCH TO ENGUAGE STARTER I THINK SWITCH IS BAD

Without a service manual or wiring diagram the best i could suggest is get a voltmeter and find which wire on the switch is live and has power on it all the time, then find which color wire goes to the starter solenoid, thats the wire that needs power jumped to it to activate the starter solenoid and spin the starter. On some though it might not run yet, as the switch usually also controls the ignition kill, however that usually just grounds the ignition wire when the switch is in the off position, so if its the type of switch that has a plug you could unplug the switch to defeat the ignition kill then try jumping the starter solenoid wire to power to crank it over. It might be easier to just get a new switch and try it, they don't cost to much for a universal switch.

I need a wiring diagram for a 2002 chevy s10 4 wheel drive 4.3 for the starter to the switch

If the truck cranks over you have voltage at the ignition switch ! From starter to switch , First off starter to what switch ,ignition ? There is a 175amp fuse that supply's battery voltage to the power distribution center - fuse box under the hood . On the lower right side of the radiator support, below the battery !

Most newer vehicles (yours included) have a lot more contacts than just the three you are talking about. I have a 2001 dodge grand caravan and it has 13 different wires running to the ignition switch. The point here is that you will have to combine several wires on one contact which may or may not do the same things the original switch does which may lead to all sorts of strange problems with the engine, transmission and all the other accessories on the vehicle. The other problem is since you will have more things running on one contact, your new switch may be overloaded and prematurely fail or even start a fire since some of the main feeder wires to the ignition switch may not be fused small enough to prevent overheating the switch. A factory/OEM switch may be more expensive but in the long run will save way more problems than the cheaper switch will. To specifically answer your question, most over-the-counter vehicle service manuals available at any auto parts store or in some libraries have generic wiring diagrams that should show you which wire would go where.

I have bought a new alternator for my 1967 ford bronco an its still not giving charge to the battery an i have full power to my wires an everything i was thinking that i might of mixed up the wiring but...

Hello, Check your small wires to the Alternator plug for power using a Testlight or Voltmeter. If the Alternator does not get power, it can't boost the power. The wire runs through the Ignition switch and is dead to the Alternator when the key is off.

Some of the older models used a fusible link and it was around the Battery. Corrosion could break the connection. You are going to need an older diagram for its location. Sometimes you can get help at a Ford Dealer Parts counter. The Parts guys can print you a portion of the shop diagram right off their computer screen. They are usually very helpful and it is free.

Your older model may have an external Regulator. That would be a possibilty for a crossed wire with the Field wire. Most of the Ford diagrams have the color wire shown on the print.

You shouldnt need a wiring diagram. The ignition switch should just unplug and and your new one should plug in.

My van wont start i've checked the starter it's good, i've bought a brand new battery, and an ignition switch. why wont my van start

Because you are replacing parts instead of checking if you need them or not. First you need to verify that the stater has power on the large cable. then there is a small wire on the solenoid, this should have power when trying to start, if it does, and the starter is good, then it should start, if the wire does not have power, find out why. The wire comes from the Neutral Switch on the trans. So it wont start unless its in N or P. So find the color wire that is at the solenoid, should be the same color at the neutral switch. there should be a wire there that has power when in the crank mode, i fpower goes into the switch, it has to come out to the starter. . You will need a wiring diagram for your van to go further.
