If it had one I would've already. Turned out to be the voltage regulator "rectifier".

Look for loose connections at alternator, an open fuse or bad fusible link in the harness.

After I get new alternator put in and battery keep on drain like it won't get volt from alternator to battery

With engine running, put a voltmeter across the battery terminals. You should see 13.5 to 16 volts. If not, the alternator is NOT charging the battery. Check for open / missing / blow fuse or fusible link in the wiring harness and tighten any loose connections.

2000 vw jetta alternator won't charge

the alternator gets power on big wire battery voltage the wire runs to starter, fuse box .alternator fuse goes to automatic shut down relay to relay control in ecm/pcm the field wire comes from ecm /pcm to alt.other field goes back to automatic shut down relay back to charge battery . if not charging at alt. try new alt. and retest.

94 Nissan sentra will not charge battery but wit car off battery reads 12 Volts then when u fire it up the volts drop down to 11.76 can't find any thing to solve this what s the problem

First, check the belt that runs the alternaotor, make sure it is'nt slipping...

Then have the alternator checked out, this is probably your culprit; as the alternator slowly wears out, it will still send current, but not at the peak performance. if the alternator checks out fine, inspect wiring harness to make sure all connections are good.

Won't start - will crank but won't fire New coil pack, new battery,- trouble shooting code P1389 - checked ASD relay - working fine

If the relay is working fine and you checked it the correct way, then there is a blown fuse or a bad connection in the circuit with either the positive side or negative side of the circuit in the harness.

2004 Trailblazer will not start. Battery and fuses check out to be good.Tach and speedometer jump around when starter is engaged.

Hi!!

It sounds like your battery is ether LOW or the wiring is loose. Check battery cables to be tight and free of corrosion, also check for loose wires to the battery and alternator. if everything is OK, jump start vehicle. If problem persists, take vehicle ot an AutoParts store to have Starting and Charging Systems checked. (no charge).

Good Luck!! Don't forget to rate this post!!

Battery not charging, new alternator, checked connections, checked fuses, alternator harness was melted at the end where it plugs into the main harness

A melted plug typically means a loose connection. Maybe one of the pins in the connector got loose and the poor connection created heat. If there are only a couple of wires to the plug and harness I would cut out the plugs and use good solderless connectors to repair. I wil be a lot less expensive than a new harness. If it is just damage to the plug going to the alt you can get replacements for them.
