I have just purchased a 2004 Land Rover Discovery. My Cooling fan continues running after car is turned off. Is this normal?

This is normal. If the coolant is warm, the cooling fan continues to run until it's brought down to an acceptable temperature.

05 land rover freelander. When turn on ac, high speed fan will not turn.replace the engine coolant temperature sensor. I unplug the switch of the fan and jumped it to the battery high speed came on.

Check the fuses first, swap relays. If that doesn't work. Takes a scanner to see what is not working. If the PCM is getting the signal, then look to the wiring to the fuse panel, to the relays. Cold be the relay/fuse panel.

Air conditioner condenser and radiator fan stays on in 1999 honda accord

It is normal (required) for the condenser fan to continuously run while the ac is operating. It is like that on almost every vehicle.

Rover 25 1.4 2004 hot engine and radiator fan problem

Yes, it is possible to install a thermostat backwards, though unlikely. If the thermostat isn't opening properly, the hot engine coolant won't be flowing over the cooling fan switch and give you high temps. I would first determine if the thermostat was opening at all, and if it is, is it opening at the proper temp. I have had many new thermostats that, while new, didn't work correctly. To check the cooling fan motor, turn on the AC(if equipped) and the fan should engage. If no AC, disconnect the cooling fan switch, and the fan should engage. Check for power and ground at the fan motor. If you have both power and ground, the fan motor is faulty

Its normal for a fan to run after the engine is shut off if the temperature is high enough, but if your car is running hot,you have other issues

Fan will not blow at high speed?

Look for a seperate fuse in the area by the heater motor. Many cars use a seperate circuit for High speed. Usual fuse is in the fuse box for all speeds except High. Larger diameter wire and fuse goes directly to the motor or a relay.Usually in the engine compartment.

Fan noise upon starting.

It could be the belts that are slipping on initial start-up. When the belts are cold, they will slip if the belt(s) are loose. It could also be the tensionoer pully. This is not normal for any vehicle under any circumstances. Good Luck Jim

2003 subaru forester makes noise when airconditioner comes on. Is it the fan belt

What kind of sound? If it squeals then the fan belt needs tightening or replacing.
If the sound is the engine increasing in speed when the compressor engages then that's normal.
