Brake light failure

Bad circuit board tail light asseblise connector pin to board poor connection or burned push in light bulb sockets
On my '93 Chevy PU the new ones went bad within months I repaired the original ones by soldering all connector pins to the board cleaned the sockets chipping out melted plastic been working for five years now.
Care must be taken to keep solder from preventing wire connector install while using enough that plugging it in will not break these delicate unions.
Required pulling them several times to Finnish repair successfully.
Very disappointed in replacement parts.

Front passenger head light fails even with new bulb on 1995 nissan sentra

This is likely caused by using the wrong bulb.

You can certainly purchase after market bulbs of more modern technology that provide much better illumination than the manufacturer recommended brand. HOWEVER, those bulbs having a matching part number to what is recommended does NOT mean it is what you should necessarily use. The reason is the wattage. Higher wattage produces more heat.
Try a bulb of a lower wattage rating. I recommend going no higher than 20 watts beyond your original rating, do not allow the bulb glass to get dirty while installing nor touch with your bare fingers, and inspect your ground connections to the headlight assembly for any breakage, corrosion or looseness. Good luck!

Drivers side headlight bulb replacement

  1. Open the hood to the 1999 Dodge Stratus.

  2. Locate the two headlight lens assembly retaining screws at the top of each side of the assembly.
  3. Remove each screw with the ratchet and a suitable socket.
  4. Place the screwdriver behind the lens assembly to assist in prying out the guide pins that secure and align the headlight assembly. Hold the lens assembly from the outside edge (marker light/directional light section) first and pry from behind with the screwdriver to unseat the guide pins. Pry from the inside end of the lens assembly to unseat the other guide pin.
  5. Pull the lens assembly out far enough to reach behind it and disconnect the headlight bulb wire harness from the back of the bulb. Or simply remove the bulb by twisting the harness and retaining ring counterclockwise and remove it as an assembly.
  6. Turn the marker light/directional light socket and wire counterclockwise to remove it from the headlight lens assembly.
  7. Remove the assembly from the front of the Stratus.

Changing Low Beam Headlamp Replacement 2005 Mazda 3.

Check out the following:
It's not easy. You need a flashlight. First, take the batter vent assembly off by removing the screw over the headlamp assembly. Open the battery box by snapping off the tabs, lift out, and move the vent to the side. Second, disconnect the headlight wire by pressing down on the opposing tabs located on the side of the connector and pull straight back. Move the wire to the side. Next, peel the rubber fitting around the bulb (located on the back of the headlamp assembly). Look inside the headlamp assembly with a flashlight to see what you got yourself into. You'll have to unhook the retainer wire that holds the bulb in place. This requires you to push the top part of the wire toward the front of the car and lift up. The wire should swing to the left (passenger side) releasing the bulb and bulb housing. Pull the old bulb out of the housing (it might be tight), replace with the new one (try not to touch the glass). Replace the bulb/housing. Make sure the little tap fits back into its slot (upper diver side). Push the wire clamp back over the bulb, pushing up back and down making sure it's hooked and your done. It seems easy once you've done it.
Good luck! EJ Kudelka

How do I change the passenger side headlight bulb on 2001 Altima

Open up the hood, and go in behind the fixture where the light is located. Sometimes there is an access panel on top. Open it and reach down inside and grab the bulb’s socket. Twist the socket a quarter turn counter clockwise, and pull out the socket. Grab the bulb, and pull it straight out. To replace the new bulb, never touch it with your bare fingers, as this will greatly shorten the bulb's life, if it even work's at all. Use a tissue or something else in that order to handle the new bulb. Push the new bulb into the socket, put the socket back into the housing, and twist a quarter turn clockwise to secure the socket into the fix.Seems that you have to remove the coolant bottle(two screws), and also the unscrew the washer fluid bottle, after that you can reach the socket that holds the bulb. There is a wire that holds the bulb in. if you loosen the screw you can tip up the wire and be careful to leave it in place...also the long side of the wire seems to connect to ground wire for the light...

The rear break rigth side is not working but the other side yes

All th tail lights are the same type. However, the push-in socket that they attach to ,if there is not a real good connection, it gets too hot and melts the bulb base and the light socket. Remove the tail light assembly with a phillips driver. 1 screw and the assembly is removed by pulling it straight back while pressing the areas where there are molded plastic clips. pull the bulb straight out and examine the area where the wires are., Both the bulb and the socket. if they appear to be melted to the plastic, they need replaced, or can be temporary made to work by using a pair of needle-nose-pliers, or tweesers to position the wire in the proper place to make contact, untill a replacement is available. Note the bulb type when you remove it, and replace with the same type...OK The bulb isn't burned out, is it??...Look at the elements in the bulb. If one is broken, the little wire element will be separated inside the bulb. It needs to be replaced Thank you...OK
