Question about Seat Cars & Trucks

1 Answer

How do you return to Amazon an item that won't work for you? If you have had the item for a couple of months.

Bought some car mats for my chevy spark- they were advertised that they would fit. They don't. I used the front seat set this winter because I was desperate and am fine with keeping those. I didn't try until today, to fit the back seat set and the trunk mat I ordered at the same time. They will not fit, even cutting down would not really work. So what do I do. I would like to get them so they will work but don't want these which won't. Are items returnable from Amazon? If so how?

Go to the amazon website and click on your orders. There is a section there concerning returns. It will even print out the shipping label for you.

My Falcon Futura 1995 1/ oil leaking from ?? and dripping on road, about one litre per two months 2/ Radiator boils after about 30 minutes - I top water every time I drive car - Rose

A couple of VERY serious issues Rose Chapman,

The oil could be leaking for a reason as nice as a poorly tightened OIL FILTER... but more likely a failed engine gasket...

But since you casually dropped the information that you are USING ONLY WATER as a COOLANT...

You have much more critical issues to tend...!!

If you plan on addressing these issues yourself...
you will need to beg, borrow or buy a STANT
cooling system pressure tester.

Use these items to determine a health BASELINE
immediately in your future..

Regularly NOT using proper anti-freeze encourages ELECTROLYSIS which will literally EAT the lessor
metals away from your engine...

Typically engine heads and "FREEZE" plugs first.

Return an item when the seller does not accept returns

Was this an E-Bay or Amazon purchase. Is this an electronic item per chance?

2002 chevy 3500 duramax 6.6 ran hot now cranks but won't start

Check spark plugs, leads, distributor cap & rotor arm, fuel pump, fuel filter, coil pack(s), relays, replace any items that are suspect IE Fuel filter which has probably not been changed since new even though they should be changed on all vehicles every 18 months, all of this can be done at home & will save you a lot of bucks in mechanic/garage fees,

I have a Stanley IntelliSensor Pro. It's worked fine for a couple of months. Now it won't calibrate - it just flashes quickly calibrating, and alternatively flashing the centre (bullseye) ci

I hate to tell you this as you are an electrician but often it is best to look for the simple solution. My Stanley IntelliSensor Pro was doing the same thing here is the answer:

Bought DVD head phones for my 2003 suburban and can not make them work.

If they came with no instructions, brand name, or documentation, I have absolutely no way of helping you with this problem. I would recommend returning them through Amazon.

2006 chevy equinox brakes seem to be locking up. the brake pedal gets hard and the vehicle does not stop there is a pulsating feel in the brake pedal alost as if it is rubbing on something. no warning...

same problem we bought ours a few months ago thinking we were getting a good car but have had nothing but trouble with it for the last 2 months. same thing our abs light came on along with the tracktion control light and the brakes get really stiff with the pulsating. i have read that it could be a bad pigtail wiring harness to the computer. i will tell you one thing i will never buy another chevy." bummed out in bellingham wa".

Prizm was left unstarted for one month in 100 degree temperatures. Unable to jumpstart. Battery was replaced but starter does not seem to have power. Lights are working. Any ideas? My son loves this car....

Go to Advance Auto and ask for a $15 battery. these are new batteries returned because the customer bought the wrong item. they have a 90 day warranty and are $15 to $20. or simply return the battery you just purchased, and exchange it but get it tested before you leave the store.
