its not hard at all. as long as your good with your hands. and know the basics of your rx7. other then that everything bolts in. you just need a turbo driveshaft for sure. or they sell a custom driveshaft on so you can keep your N/A differential.

SOURCE: I have a mazda 13b rotary injection engine. What

Two problems the parts your playing with have been obselete for a long time and they'll have to be found used or aftermarket. Their is alot of hoses and they cantrol the fuel pressure but the picture I have doesn't have the colors of the hoses you just haveto match the picture to the car. It's be best to spring the 15 bucks at the parts store for the book on your car if they don't have it in stock they can order it and it'll come the next day call around and one of the stroes in your town can have it or get it the next day. You hook thest hoses up wrong you can damage the engine or even cause a fir to start. repair the broken nipple with a small peice of pipe inside of the fitting (metal brake line) even a hobby store can help you as you show them the broken off nipple. Mazda parts might copy you off a picture of the parts picture. good luck on ordering new parts they might be able to get some and alot of these are being restored so they may be able to point you to salvage yards that sell RX7 parts or even new copy parts that may get you past your breakage. the fuel mixture is critical on these engines as over lean or even rich mistures will cost a heavy cost in repairs and your likly to have some of those problems already. Theirs clubs and online fourms that are full of RX7 nuts and they;ll be glad to even show up to direct you in the dirction to go next.

2006 rx8 Son flooded it. I changed plugs and wires runs but no power until 4000 rpm is it a pluged cat or something else about 93000 miles just bought car two months ago ran fine when he bought it. no...

If this is a Mazdfa rx8 with a rotary motor then it will probably be as it is supposed to be unless it is turbo powered in which check out the turbo operation. Rotary engines do not have power under 3000rpms as they need to be spinning before the torque range cuts in. The rx8 had a 13b engine and the latest version of the engine had as much power as a standard v8 above 4000rpms and reved to close on 11000 rpms

Where is the best and cheapest place to buy the parts to rebuild my 13b engine?

Best parts are Mazda. cheap parts are cheap. No quality part is going to be low price. If you want it to last a long time then you get Mazda. There are companies selling aftermarket but I have not used any so I can not judge them either way. this is from building Mazda rotary engines since 1972. I am a factory guy so I do lean that direction.
