The easiest way to do it would be to find a used van or truck to get the parts and wiring from.
I would think a one ton truck would have the same setup as long as its the same engine.

Take it to AutoZone for a free diagnostic scan. Your local Ford dealer will charge you $100+ for the same scan.

It sounds like the idle control valve and/or the mass air flow sensor. The scan will accurately pinpoint the problem.

I have a 1990 jayco motorhome that is powered by a Ford f-350 econoline with a 460 ci motor. I need to know which fuse is for the cruise control?

I would guess a 1990 E350 Econoline Van Owner Manual would have the chart. ISn't it on the fuse panel cover?

If you have no luck, let me know and I will try to search my archieves.

Engine number

I have a 99 ford E350 15 pass van with the V10 gas engine with 120,000 miles and auto trans. The engine was missing at speeds above 45 MPH. I took it to a repair shop for a tune up. They changed the spark plugs and charged me $520.00. Well now it misses at idle to 55 MPH. They made it worst! I'll eat my losses and will not deal with the repair shop as they are giving me the run around. Can anyone help me before i get ripped off again. My last resort is the Ford dealer but they are the biggest rip off in the world.
Need help,
Harold

1999-E350-V10-super duty-misfires/no codes /no check engine light

sounds like you have a dead ignition coil very common problem. to check the ignition coil and fuel injector harness without a scan tool you can use a noid light. it is a 12volt light bulb that connects to the harness side and flashes indicating that the computer is firing the injector and or coil. there is no specifications to check the ignition coils the best way is with a scan tool see witch cylinders have the most counts in the misfire history your local dealer may also be able to perform a cylinder balance test to find the dead hole. unfoutunatly you have to remove the doghouse to access the rear coils and fuel injectors.

1988 Ford E350 with 2 batteries won't start, just clicks

It has to have 2 batteries because it is a diesel engine. Diesels use compression to fire the combustion mixture instead of a spark plug as a gasoline engine does. It has glow plugs that heat the mixture up before starting to help promote this and it has probably twice the compression ratio, therefore it takes alot of amps to start it and that is why you have 2 batteries. No it still only has one solenoid for the starter but it has to use a gear reduction starter instead of a conventional one.
