SOURCE: power windows, sunroof, interior lights not working. Fuse?

I just saw your posting. Yes, It could be a fuse, a 10amp interior light fuse BUT... I had to replace the Central Locking Control module which toasted first... I had the 3 open door, no working lights/windows situation too...

The problem seems to be in the main cabin light which has the 3 way rocker switch. Turn this off (depress the side on the driver side of the car (US)). Check the 10 amp fuse for the interior light. If it is burnt, you are OK if its not, you need to replace the Central Locking module. ~$200 US

I still have not replaced the cabin light module where I think a short is. If I replace the fuse in question, and turn the cabin light on, it "pulses" for a few minutes and then cooks the fuse.

Interior lights will not go out - door ajar light on

I have this same problem that I am trying to figure out what is causing it and how to fix it. I have taken the fuse out several times and I hate putting it back in everytime we need the lights or roll a window down, and taking it out when I turn the car off.......... if you want to take your fuse out it is number 14 (or the second row from the left and the 3rd fuse down) and it is a number 15 fuse I think.

Blow fuse for interior lights and windows

The short is probably an electronic device which shorted a semi conductor in it's cicuit. Even replacing a fuse will only blow them out right away. Do you notice anything electronic that do not work? For example the radio or something. Anyways I am from houston as well.

99 dodge ram fuse 12 that controls mirrors, interior lights and radio, blows out everytime you put one in. none of these things works at all. fuse was blown when i got truck, replaced it and it blew out...

Along side of where the door closes, is the plastic trim between the carpet and door jamb . Unscrew this piece of trim, a wiring harness runs along it, as well as the seat belt module under the seat wiring. What I found was one of the screws rub the harness and shorted out the system. Repaired the wires ALL GOOD!

1996 ford probe passenger electric window no longer works.

you blew the fuse for your radio.you cannot put a hot wire to a ground that is why the fuse blew.you could have broken a wire connector for the door, windows etc.the headlight switch wire harness is probably melted this happens a lot on Ford products, the head light draw so much heat they melt the wire harness plug that goes on the back of the headlight switch.
