Testimonial: "This car doesn't have a typical camshaft position sensor . The ecm gets the signal from the icm which is new ."

Lloyd; sounds like vacuum leak, i use starter fluid (CAREFULLY)to locate vacuum leaks. Also on the 2.2 ecotec fuel dirty stuck injectors can do this, while car is running, give a sharp 2 or 3 raps on injectors one at a time, listen for engine noise change,

What would cause a a 2006 Saturn Ion Base 2.2L manual to have reduced power and a blinking MIL?

You most likely have a cylinder mis-fire. Usually a bad spark plug or ignition coil/ignition wire. Check the codes to determine what cylinder is causing the misfire and repair a necessary

My 2003 Saturn Ion seems to run good but once I warm it up in traffic it's a different story. When the car comes to an idle it stalls out.

Do you have a check engine light? Could be an ignition problem that can cause this when the engine gets hot and it stalls. It's caused by a lack of spark which can be either the ECU's fault (on EFI cars), or the coil on pretty much any car.

Ignition control module problems

If any of the ignition components fail, you should get a check engine light and a trouble code for that component.
Are you getting any codes ?

Saturn ion 2 2.2L ecotech code p0303, i have already replace the icm and the coil and the spark plug

this obd2 trouble code table can help you understand the meaning of code.
for p0303, you can try this:

If there are symptoms such as the engine is stumbling or hesitating, check all wiring and connectors that lead to the cylinders (i.e. spark plugs). Depending on how long the ignition components have been in the car, it may be a good idea to replace them as part of your regular maintenance schedule. I would suggest spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, and rotor (if applicable). Otherwise, check the coils (a.k.a. coil packs). In some cases, the catalytic converter has gone bad. If you smell rotten eggs in the exhaust, your cat converter needs to be replaced. I've also heard in other cases the problems were faulty fuel injectors.

2004 Alero...Car will not start now. Changed fuel filter and made sure I have gas to the motor. I chacked the codes and have 1 saying a misfire in all cylinders. Checked for spark and found I have spark in...

did you check the ICM (ignition control module) that's what the coil pack sits on. Inspect if for wire damage and you can remove the ICM and have it tested at Auto Zone or Parts Source free of charge.
Thank you for using FIxya and good luck

1997 saturn sc 1 code Po 341 comes up, I have replaced the spark plugs and wire set, I also replaced the fuel filter. The car won't start at all now but before I replaced the above parts the car would run...

The fuel filter won't help with this DTC, but helps otherwise.
Camshaft position sensor...can be a few reasons for this. Since you put new plug wires in, check the coil pack for cylinder #4 and also the spark plug for that cylinder even though it is new. A different problem in that cylinder can cause that spark plug to fail prematurely.
Here is a more detailed explanation....

My daughter has had her ion for about 2 years now and it seems like when it gets cold and damp when she first gets in and starts it it wont start but if she gives it a few minutes and tries again it will...

Ignition cylinder is the usual culprit. Saturn has a big problem with their ignition cylinders going bad when very cold or humid.

Still if you want to replace the spark plugs (the vehicle does not have spark plug wires but rather coil packs and replaceable boots) they are under the black plastic strip on top of the engine that says ECOtec. There are four 10mm bolts holding it down and an electrical connection on the right side that has to be unclipped. There is also a bracket for the acceleration cable that is in the way that is held on by one 10mm bolt in the side of the valve cover. Be careful when removing the black cover to not lose any of the spring that are in the spark plug boots. Typically you only need to replace the spark plugs and not the boots.

I need to find the fuel filter on a 2004 saturn ion 3. The car is running rough, and throwing a P0300 code at me. I have replaced the coil pack, plugs, both oxygen sensors, and the catalytic converter....

Check your plugs, check the ign module, test the injectors, take a fuel sample and make sure there isnt water in your fuel, if all these test good perform a compression test. if the compression test fails replace the head. if the compression test is good. check the timing

2001 saturn sc2 gets code 341&340 camshaft sensor

if you have high resistance in secondary ign. system (plug wires, ign.coil) this will cause this code to set. make sure you are using a high quality spark plug wire set. not from autozone!!! and denso non platinum tipped spark plugs. also use a diaelectric grease on plug wires to keep moisture out.
