Question about 1996 Ford Explorer
I HAVE A 96 FORD EXPLORER THAT WONT START ALL THE TIME IT WILL RUN GOOD ONE DAY AND NOT START THE NEXT.I NOTICE IT STARTS ACTING UP ON HOT DAYS AND ONCE IT COOLS DOWN OR I LET IT SIT FOR A WHILE IT WILL START RIGHT UP IT NOT OVER HEATING AND IT RUNS GREAT WHEN IT STARTS JUST DONT KNOW WHAT IT COULD BE.
I got a rord mondeo v8 that wont start after its been raining any ideas any1

Also Electronic Spark control Module. I have found many times when you run down the road and it gets a little hot it will shut down. When you let it sit for a little bit and it cools down it will restart and run like nothing was ever wrong until it heats up again.

Try replacing the fuel pump reley
they are a little bit funny in fords
i had a ford 1 time thet ran fine for hours in the driveway but go 2 blocks and the truck would die dam reley took me 2 monthes to diagnose once i did i had a great vechiale untill a dui hit me broad side

Sounds like the coils are getting hot and breaking down. or the module is getting bad. take the intire coil pac to the parts store they should be able to test it .
