Looking at changing my 2002 v6 Pajero from auto to manual any suggestions

Do you mean swap the transmission?

I hope you get lots of helpful stuff on this, but I feel strongly your best course is just to go trade the auto in on a manual. You will save yourself lots of grief as the tranny isn't the only thing that will need changing. You will need to change the ECU, the linkage, the driveline, the console etc. Lots of trouble.

I have 4jx1 engine manual transmision with manual ecu changed to ecu 4jx1 automatic

The manual and auto ECUs are not interchangeable, the auto ecu needs signals from the auto shifter and gearbox that it is not getting.

Ive got a 525d auto sport 03 plate and i dont know if i have to change the gearbox oil or not and also the back diff

Not usually with a manual gearbox, they will go for a hundred miles. Autos need to be changed at about 40 thousand. The diff. should not need it either.

What gear to drive in when towing a trailer with toyota camry

Whatever gear the car needs to have the moter spinning without full throttle.Auto and manual are driven differently.Up hill, downhill.Mostly,if its manual you wait a bit longer to change gears.E.g.Normal change revs,3000 rpm,go to 3500rpm with the trailer on.Auto, use the gear selecter and put it back to 3 instead of D and when the car has enough speed, then into D.Drive the auto like a manual on hills etc.to help it.Don't forget that braking distances almost double when you have a trailer on.Hope this helps

Front transmission seal replacement how to change

you will need to drop the transmission enough to get the new seal in there. Might want to get a Haines manual at the auto parts store. I am guessing you have the 4.0litre straight 6? Is it an auto or manual? I replaced this seal on my Wrangler with the 4.2 and 5spd.
