I have a 2010 Buick Lacrosse with a 3.0 engine and it is leaking antifreeze from the passenger side of the engine. I don't know where it's coming from?

Is it leaking a lot, or just a few drops? Can you tell where it is coming from?

Have it pressure checked could be water pump, or the lower radiator hose.

2010 Buick LaCrosse overheated and lost coolant. What type of coolant should be used? Does it just go in to the recovery tank?

You can use any good grade of antifreeze to recharge the sys. Based on how much you have to add to the system you might want to remove the radiator cap and add the antifreeze. Be sure to pour it in slow so you do not get an air lock and spit it all back out when the engine heats up.

My 2005 Buick LaCrosse makes a whiny noise. It is worse when going around corners. I notice when I take my foot off the gas the noise lessons significantly.

I am guessing the steering rack is starting to go bad. That is quite expensive to fix. The whining noise is the rack sucking air due to the steering fluid has leaked out. You can check your power steering fluid level and add some with stop leak to see if that helps. The filler cap is at the rear of the engine on the passenger side and is quite hard to get to. Be sure to not reach down to remove the cap unless the engine is cool. There is a high risk of burning yourself on the exhaust manifold.

Antifeeze leak on my 2000 VW Beetle Turbo

Most likely a leaky gasket. The water pump is a likely candidate, but also could be from a bad radiator hose/thermostat connection. Would suggest washing down the engine with a hose connected to the hot water. While the engine is cold use the hose to wash off the oil & grease deposits and old antifreeze. Allow the engine to dry without running the car. Once dry start the car and be prepared to look for the first sign of a leak. Sounds like a dealer issue since there is very little work clearence between the front of the engine and the car body. Barely enough room to be able to change the serpentine belt.
