When you try to adjust which mirror ? driver , passenger or does it matter ? You have a short to ground in the electrical wiring somewhere . Do you know how to do automotive electrical trouble shooting using a wiring diagram and a voltmeter ?
Electric Testing Techniques You Need to Know

http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html free wiring diagrams ! Testing the electrical circuit before replacing parts is the proper way to diagnose .
Enter vehicle info. year , make , model an engine . Under system click on interior & Driver amenity , subsystem click power mirrors. Click the search button , then the blue link . Check the electrical circuit ! You could have a broken wire inside the rubber boot from the body to the door .

The most common issue is a wire is grounding out. I can not tell yo how many times i have found a broken wire in the boot between the door and the body, the wires are found in the 1.5" rubber that you can see when opening the door. You will have to pull it out of the door and the body to expose the wires, it is a real pain to fix once you find the bad wire or wires after it is repaired double shrink seal it for a bit more rigidity. only twice have i found the issue was the switch itself, be prepared for a very time consuming task, after the repair be sure to push both of the ends of the rubber sleeve all the way back in. Be sure you check for rough or sharp edges before putting the boot back in place. Good luck, hope this helps.

SOURCE: XM Radio Fuse

sounds to me like you need to check the continuity to ground on the power line for the xm, you may have a power to ground short or a loose wire in the xm harness

SOURCE: power mirror not working but no fuse blow

I don't know what your question is but if it is what fuse is for your power mirrors it is fuse #4 in your central junction box which is in the cab of your truck. Good luck.

SOURCE: Fuse Keeps Blowing

First off the reason for instant fuse blow is because this is a positive wire grounding out or touching/crossing a grounded surface. I would first target the Cig lighter outlet connections also if the outlet is rusty inside looking, replace it.

SOURCE: Im trying to replace the passenger mirror, need to

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Once the panel is off, you will see two or three bolts securing the mirror assembly onto the door

Remove the door panel and isconnect the mirror and see if the fuse still blows, if it does the wiring is at fault to the mirror, if no fuse issue the mirror motor is shorted.

Fuse panel diagram

All of the interior lamps are powered thru the body computer. The power source is a 10amp fuse marked CTSY LAMP. The vanity mirror is on the same circuit with the lights for the door lock and power window switches.

2004 Lexus keeps blowing ECU-B fuse

A bad outside mirror motor will also cause that fuse to blow. Is your fuse blowing when you adjust the mirrors or when you put the car in reverse? If yes, then the mirror motor is the problem.

The wiring harness to the mirrors is likely rubbed through, pull the door panel off on the driver side first and check the mirror harness.

Both elec door mirrors stopped responding same tme, why?

First, make sure you do not have the mirror control switch in the "neutral" position. If it is, neither mirror will work. If the switch is in the correct position to operate each mirror and neither of them work, the next thing I would check would be the MIRRORS fuse (2 Amp) located in the Body Control Module Fuse Block under the right side of the dash near the blower motor. If the fuse is blown, you probably have one of your mirror circuits shorting to ground. In this case, I would replace the fuse and see if it blows again when I operate each mirror. If one side works and the fuse blows when trying to operate the other side, then you at least know which mirror circuit is shorted and you can diagnose accordingly. If the fuse blows immediately (without operating the switch), or if the fuse is not blown, then you most likely have a defective mirror control switch or a broken wire in the umbilical that goes between the body and the driver's door.
