Poor nighttime visibility in snowstorm

How old is your car??? What kind of car is it? What comes to mind is the car sets in the sun most of the time. And the windshield is laminated (two pieces of glass held together by a film of plastic) This plastic over time will shrink causing light to deflect causing poor vision. If this is indeed the problem the windshield has to be replaced. I would think insurance would cover it.

How to remove sun visor on a chevrolet Trailbazer

Hello. here is the instructions for removing the sunshade.

  • Insert a small tool into the bezel access hole (1).
  • Important: Midway through the rotation cycle, the tool will move further into the access hole.
  • Push upward on the tool while rotating the sunshade parallel to the windshield. The sunshade pivot arm bezel should appear to be recessed into the bezel.

Water leaking into down A pillar into drivers floor pan

First off, get a second opinion from another windshield replacement company. I've hada couple of windshields removed to reseal and they never broke it taking it out. Before that, wait for a nice day, and hit the windshield with a water hose. Have someone sit inside the truck and watch for a leak. A car wash is good too because they use high pressure water to wash it and high pressure air to dry it. Another piece of advise, make sure your cowl is clean. Open the hood, and look back where the wipers are. If theres a lot of leaves or other debris, that will also cause water to back up and make its way into the truck. Good luck.

    Water leak

sounds like you have a window seal leak.  The only other way water will leak into the car is a leaky heater core or a clogged A/C drain.  Do you have a sun roof that could be leaking?  As they have drains too.

Metal creeking noise coming from above windshield

hree trips to two different dealers finally fixed it. Above the windshield there is a piece of molding that covers the top of the windshield. The clips holding that on were not clipped on properly and the piece was separating from the windshield at high speeds causing a medal creaking. Most likely happened when I had the windshield replaced.
