On a 2015 Hyundai elantra ,what pin # on the 40 pin instrument cluster ,connector A, do I need to add a wire to so the fog lights on indicator will work?

Most late model instrument clusters are DIGITAL, they get their information from the body control module. I highly doubt there's a way to add a wire to make the fog light indicator to work. I'd bet money that the fog lights are turned on by the BCM

2010 hyundai accent head lights and turn signals are off than comes back on

It is either a wire that is loose or a wire that gets wet when it rains then dries and works again. That just happened to me on my honda accord. It was only happening with one of my turn signals but when I took the cover off it ended up being an area that had been getting wet.

No power on trailer plug for lt signal on a 2500 hd gmc

get the standard wiring design
Yellow is the left turn signal on pin 2
Check trailer plug and see if correct colors used on trailer plug
Would suggest getting a 12volt probe so you can test the car socket when left indicator is going on - flashing
To check that the correct pin has 12volts flashing left on it.

you should find it under the dash on the drivers side, it could be a square or round unit with a connector plug on it when you remove the connector plug there are three pins on the unit.......hope this helps......cheers.

How do I connect a trailer hitch power plug to the break lights and tail lights to my 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe.

Under the vehicle by the tail lights locate the lights wiring and look for this colors.
it's only four colors white-ground point,brown-parking lights,yellow-left side turn signal light and green-right side turn signal.
you are going to need a test light to find the correct wire,if you can't locate the wiring unther the vehicle then remove the tail lights and do the connections there.

I have a hyundai accent 1996 when i put the left turn signal the temparture gauge moves left to right.

You most likely have a ground problem somewhere in the turn signal circuit and it is partially using the temp gauge as a ground source causing the meter to move. Could also be a short in the wiring harness between the turn signal wire and the temp sender wire.

I have a 2011 Hyundai Elantra . I am going to Canada and have to install a DRL. I have a Grote 44040 Module,but the instructions for my car are not clear - can you help?

Okay, this is pretty simple. There are three wires:
1. Pink - Goes to your ignition circuit - provides power to the module when the ignition switch is in the ON position this wire should also have an inline fuse .
2. Yellow - this one goes to the headlamp low-beam circuit on your vehicle - provides power to the healamps any time the ignition switch is on and the headlamp switch is off.
3. Blue - this one goes to your park/marker lamp circuit - signals the module that the headlamp switch has been turned on and cuts power from the yellow wire so headlamps can operate normally.

Your car should work very well with this:
Go to the engine compartment fuse and relay box. Here you will find fuses for the low beam headlamps and the high beam headlamps. There are fuses for the left and right sides. Don't worry about whether you are working with the left or the right, because both of these fuses get their power from the low beam relay - it splits beyween left and right after the relay. If you power one of these fuses, you will power them both. The yellow wire can connect either to the fuse itself (with a fuse tap) or you can splice into the low beam headlamp wiring as it comes out of the fuse block. Where the ER FRONT harness plugs in to the fuse block the headlamp circuits are GREEN for the high beam and YELLOW for the low beam. Look for Pins 16 and 17. (These will be the easiest to identify because they are right next to each other) Pin 16 should be GREEN and Pin 17 will be YELLOW. The YELLOW wire from the DRL module connects to the YELLOW wire at Pin 17.

Next is the PINK wire on the DRL. On the same connector (ER FRONT) at the fuse block, Pin #11 should have two wires: a RED/BLACK wire and a PINK wire. Splice the PINK wire from the DRL to the PINK wire that comes out of this connector. - this wire is only hot with the key in the ON position.

The BLUE wire on the DRL wil have to connect to either the left or right side marker lamp circuit. The easiest place to do this would be at the headlamp assembly. The marker circuits will be a GREEN/ORANGE wire at the left headlamp assembly, or you can go to the PINK wire at the right headlamp assembly. (The left side would probably be the easiest.) It is important to hook to one of these wires and not one of the turn signal or headlamp circuits. It will not function properly if you do this.
If you hook to a headlamp circuit, it won't work at all and if you hook to the turn signal it will cause your headlamps to flash off every time the turn signal flashes on.

Turn the ignition switch on, and you should have DRL headlamps. Check the function of all of your lights after installation, including the high- beams and turn signal - just to make sure it is wired correctly.

Hi There. Im not sure where you are but this is the sequence for the UK< Hope it helps.
here are the 7 cable locations and pin numbers.
Pin 1 Yellow L/H Direction Indicator
Pin 2 Blue Rear Fog Lamps
Pin 3 White Earth Return
Pin 4 Green R/H Direction Indicator
Pin 5 Brown R/H Tail & No, Plate Light
Pin 6 Red Stop Lamps
Pin 7 Black L/H Tail & No, Plate Lights

I found the easiest way to locate the correct wires in the loom is to turn on the lights required and use a circuit tester and splice into the main loom where you have enough wire to play with. Try not to cut the loom as it only causes more problems with bad connections and joins.(

How to R&R a front Turn signal bulb from a 2007 Hyundai Entourage

look at position of bulb inside lamp assy then open bonnet feel behind h/lamp at location of indicator bulb you will locat the bulb wire socket turn this socket anti clockwise slightly it will release the socket complete with bulb pull it out then fit new bulb make sure bulb is correct one! ie the locating bayonet pins are same ? then refit socket with new bulb in reverse sequence test working

first check for grounding wires, beware of shortcircuits, lastly replace stick. If you replace stick without checking wires, u will throw money to trash
