I have a 2009 dodge journey sxt , I have the car rust proofed every year , I cannot figure out whre the rust stains are coming from in my driveway

Not actually rust. You have a leak in the radiator or one of the hoses, and the coolant system is full of rusty water.

Your rust treatment coats metal with wax to stop the metal rusting.

When you park your car put a sheet of cardboard for a large box underneath the part of the car where the rust stain is. Hold it down with 4 bricks or stones. Next day, look underneath and see where the spot is? Open the hood and see from above. I am pretty sure I am right.

Of course the other possibility is metal in your driveway concrete and the rust is coming outwards.

CLR will remove the marks.

How do I fix extensive rusting under my 2003 nissan pathfinder, I am really worried, please what do I do?

There is a paint on rust converter . You paint it on the rust and it turns it back into metal . After that i would spray the rubberized under coating to protect it.

Now i wanna changing my Kohler3384 with a new seat, but how can i remove two old bolts?

The attaching hardware (not bolts) is removed by removing the nuts from underneath. You should be aware that on some old toilet installations the hardware may be rusted and the nuts difficult to remove. In that case, you may need to use rust solvent and even a hacksaw to get results.

1994 Caravan 3.0 how to install the water pump

This is a very complex job that should probably be done by a professional. If you really want to do it yourself, I would highly recommend buying a proper manual. The water pump is driven by the timing belt which is underneath the plastic front cover of the engine. To change the pump, you'll have to remove the front (right side) motor mount bracket, the power steering pump, the plastic timing belt cover, the timing belt and tensioner, then the pump, which is mounted to a housing that is held on to a tube that runs under the intake manifold. Quite often the bolts are rusted to the water pump housing and some care is required when separating and replacing the pump and housing.

How do i put a fuel filter in my 1990 oldsmobile 88?

you cut the fuel line under the bonnet and fit a inline filter its easier than messing around ,the fuel filter is underneath the vehicle by the fuel tank and unless its corroded away leave well alone ,also in the bottom of the pick up pipe is a gauze filter as well if car is running ok then leave well alone providing the metal casing on the one underneath is ok then they should last forever unless you have used fuel from a rust can ,all fuel pumps have a micronic filter on the pump so you shouldnt get a problem unless you have a metal fuel tank ???

Is it the power steering pump or the line that's leaking?

Stop driving it before you ruin the pump or steering rack. Replace any leaking hoses, flush the system with correct fluid and fill.
