When is the code detected? The P0480 code is detected when the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) detects that the commanded state of the driver and the actual state of the control circuit do not match.

How much do it cost to get the gear shift fixd so that i can switch gears

first call a dealer with the VIN and mileage and find out if it is under warranty. if no take it to a transmission shop and get an estimate, helps to have a better idea as to the exact problem, transmission guy may spot something simple, eyes and hands on the car are better than an oracle

1998 Ford F150 4x4 Rear wheel ABS. Fixd problem.

Usually if the problem is indeed gone it will clear itself. But if yours won't you probably either need to reset it yourself with a automotive computer code reader better known as a OBD2 reader (about $100) or take it to a auto shop for them to reset.

Car missing

Pull all your plugs (one at a time and replace afterwards) and make note of any plugs that maybe black or wet. Do a compression test on those cylinders. You made the plugs hotter with the new coil but the potential flooding amy have just caught up. If this is any help, please check good or fixya. Tahnk you
