Lower glove box latch 2006 prius popped What do I do to reconnect button?

I just had a similar problem this past weekend. I gently pushed the latch with a small screwdriver until it closed. Then I pushed the release button to re-open the latch. After that it hooked the glove box just fine. I've open/closed the glove box at least a dozen times since then and the problem hasn't reoccurred yet.

2010 S80 Key Fob Sticks in Dash...

Once you have the 'key' out of the dashboard, check the cut outs where the holder keeps the 'key' in are clean and free from fluff etc. There may be something in the holder also that is stopping the free movement of the grab arms. Use a tin of compressed air to blow it clear, (computer keyboard air, you know the can type).

Holden tigra roof wont open, Windows go down, Boot retracts, Back Dashboard goes up then it just stops an the roof wont open, Does anyone have any idea why this could be happening

You need to pump the hydraulics manually, to do this first sit on boot and press boot button for a few seconds without allowing the boot to open. Partially allow boot to open, manually push boot all the way open and closed a dozen or so times to manually pump hydraulics. I had same prob, this sounds extreme but does work and wont cost you a penny.

My rear window wont go up, last year the other side broke also,is this a comon problem with buicks, I dont think I have used these windows but a dozen times, has buick ever had a recall on this problem?...

You need to use the windows more often. To put the window up.start the car,go to the door with the window stuck down, now,as you hit the button on the door to the up position,HIT THE DOOR HARD! The window will go up but it may take a few tries.Push button up just as you hit the door hard.A rubber hammer helps get a good hard hit.

Hi i have a 2001 s10 the 3 rd brake light is working but the side brake light arent - side lights come on checked fuses heeeelllpp

Found this problem on a few Blazers and S-10s . Try pushing the hazard button in and out a dozen or so times then turn them off and check brake lights. The brake light circuit runs though the turn signal switch and hazard switch. Contacts get dirty and wont let power get through. Hope it works for you!

Trunk wont open on my 2001 vw tdi jetta

You can open it old school. Insert the key in the trunk lock in the VW emblem and turn it while pushing down on the trunk lid with the other hand a little bit. It should open. The plastic arm that the motor is pushing to unlock may be broken. I have the same problem. You can see it if you unscrew the fabric from the trunk lid and press the button on the remote. There are about a dozen fuzzy head screws (nicely masked btw.) that hold it. I am still looking for the proper name of the part so I can order it for my car.

Stuck in 4wd

Apparently, their is an electrically controlled, vaccuum servo located below the spare donut tire under the hood which is malfunctioning. It is connected to a lever on the side of transmission, by a cable. A temporary fix is to get the lever to move forward by hand. Jack up the car on the passenger side. Between the two transmission cross members, above the exaust pipe behind the catylictic converter, you will see the lever connected to the cable. Push lever forward towards motor to disengage rear wheels. This will allow you to travel on a hard road until you can get to a mechanic.
