ASD relay may have the system shut down. Disconnect battery for 10-15 minutes, then reconnect and try to start.

Starter solenoids, yes. If you don't even hear a click, try starting it in neutral. If still nothing, hold the key in the start position with one hand, while moving the gear selector S-L-O-W-L-Y through the entire range of possible movement. It may be the neutral safety switch. Anything happen?

Caterpillar troubleshooting

First thing to try with any diesel that won't start is to do a diesel system bleed. This one should be before the HP fuel rail type so start by bleeding the lift pump, then the fuel filters, then the main injector pump to lines to the injectors and lastly the injectors. Good luck.

2002 ford taurus won't start - brand new battery and complete tune up still won't start

Sounds like your not getting any fuel..Listen for the fuel pump,by removing gas cap and put your ear up to it..cycle the key without starting it and listen for the pump..sometimes you can beat on the bottom of the tank and it will jarr the pump and it will start running again..Not a fix but a conformation

2000 jeep wrangler - starts and then will die while driving. Battery replaced, starter replaced, alternator checks out okay. Could it be the solenoid?

The solenoid causes the starter to engage when the ignition switch is turned to start. If the car starts, the solenoid is probably okay.

Sounds more like a fuel delivery problem.
