I have a 01 Tahoe and the toe in will not stay set , any ideas

Seems the most likely is the control module, but could be affected by bad grounds or possibly a wheel speed sensor.

check your HVAC fuses underneath the steering wheel and or hood. if not the problem, remove the bezel piece as directed and unclip the attachment (see if the knobs are aligned (on track) with one another. its very easy over time for them to slip. its like a zipper. sometimes zippers get kinks as well as the knob. hope this helps

Start with the basics; Is the reason the car does not start is that the battery is discharged after a week of sitting or a case that it won't start without a jump although the battery is still good. If the car just does not start after sitting then try the following; Pull the negative battery cable and let the car sit overnight. Reconnect the cable in the morning and see if it starts. If it does then you are looking for something that is pulling current from the battery. Could be lots of things; light on in the glove box or trunk, a short in a wire, etc. You can try pulling a couple of fuses each evening and in the morning, replace the fuses and see if the car will start after sitting. If it continues to discharge the battery then try another set of fuses. The day it starts after sitting then you have narrowed the electrical system that is discharging your battery. Focus on those systems

if u took out the battery see if u set the security it will light up on the dash look in your owners manual on how to re set if it set it off it will shut off the gas or if u arced a + to a - u might have blown a fuse -- check all -- it might not say it is for the fuel

Fuel pump or the fuel pressure regulator are the most common problems.

I would still be suspect of the ABS module. Had the same thing happen on an 01 Tahoe.

Search the web for an ABS repair facility located in Russia, IA. They repair the module for $150.00 and give a 5 year warranty, which you can't get from the factory.
And, their website has troubleshooting guides to help you determine if for certain the module is bad or has a probelm.

You can remove the module and continue to drive the vehicle. Their turn around is as they state, and once I had them make the repiars, my Tahoe has been up and running great!

sound to me like you have a blower fan problem. its not uncommon for the fan to "burn out on the lower speeds due to those being the most commonly used speeds. double check with your mechanic to be sure. blower motors aren't hard to replace but the prices vary alot based on type.
