Sounds like you have lost the locking nut or it is not tight.

Abs and brake light stay on in 2001 chevy tahoe

Seems the most likely is the control module, but could be affected by bad grounds or possibly a wheel speed sensor.
Read this thread, about 3 pages long, and has info and links for the control module fix and where to check the grounds.

Heater on my 01 tahoe gets stuck on

check your HVAC fuses underneath the steering wheel and or hood. if not the problem, remove the bezel piece as directed and unclip the attachment (see if the knobs are aligned (on track) with one another. its very easy over time for them to slip. its like a zipper. sometimes zippers get kinks as well as the knob. hope this helps

1 Answer father has a 2000 crown vic, everything is solid and tight underneath, but the steering is so over excessive it will toss you from lane to lane.never drove a car that turned this easy...

Is this by chance a former police vehicle? Many of them came with rack and pinion steering, or power assisted rack and pinion. This steering set up is very reactive. Just a thought.
Has there been any work done on the front end (i.e. Pitman Arm, Idler Arm)? If so it would have been aligned and maybe it wasn't done properly.
Ford sets the toe for slight toe-out. You want it to have slight toe-in.
Caster should be equal on both sides, and set to positive (at least +5-+6*).
My car tends to drift towards the curb on graded roads and I think its partially due to my caster setting being out of whack.
What you described sounds like excessive toe-out, where if you start a turn, it has intense initial OVERsteer. If you have toe-in, you will get initial understeer and it won't be as twitchy.
I would take it in for an alignment. If it was just aligned I would raise Cain about it. It should never have left the shop without being road tested.
Good luck

Have a 01 Tahoe with new red top and fairly new alternator. It charges at about 14v. But if I leave the Tahoe set for a week, it wont start.Where do I look for a voltage leak. The Tahoe seems to be working...

Start with the basics; Is the reason the car does not start is that the battery is discharged after a week of sitting or a case that it won't start without a jump although the battery is still good. If the car just does not start after sitting then try the following; Pull the negative battery cable and let the car sit overnight. Reconnect the cable in the morning and see if it starts. If it does then you are looking for something that is pulling current from the battery. Could be lots of things; light on in the glove box or trunk, a short in a wire, etc. You can try pulling a couple of fuses each evening and in the morning, replace the fuses and see if the car will start after sitting. If it continues to discharge the battery then try another set of fuses. The day it starts after sitting then you have narrowed the electrical system that is discharging your battery. Focus on those systems

2002 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 Brake & ABS lights stay on

I would still be suspect of the ABS module. Had the same thing happen on an 01 Tahoe.

Search the web for an ABS repair facility located in Russia, IA. They repair the module for $150.00 and give a 5 year warranty, which you can't get from the factory.
And, their website has troubleshooting guides to help you determine if for certain the module is bad or has a probelm.

You can remove the module and continue to drive the vehicle. Their turn around is as they state, and once I had them make the repiars, my Tahoe has been up and running great!

Air conditioning blower speeds

sound to me like you have a blower fan problem. its not uncommon for the fan to "burn out on the lower speeds due to those being the most commonly used speeds. double check with your mechanic to be sure. blower motors aren't hard to replace but the prices vary alot based on type.
