1.8L?
ill take a wild guess ...

the power comes from engine #4 to each accessory

if 2 seizes belt burns.

I have a 1999 Isuzu Amigo that was given to me. The previous owner told me that the A/C didn't work. Apparently when you turn the A/C on the vehicle shuts off. I don't know where to start, I have checked...

Sounds like your A/C compressor is seized. If there is a separate belt to the compressor take it off and see if it does the same thing. If it does then you have a wiring issue, if is does not stall then you have a bad compressor.

Battery light and abs light on hard to steer overheating

sounds like you either lost your fan belt, or you have a seized up alternator, or belt tensioner. The fan belt [ drive belt ] turns the alternator to charge the battery, the power steering pump to make easy steering , and the water pump cooling your engine. Do you smell rubber burning? hear a squealing noise? or rattling noise. Open your engine bonnet, start the car up, and look at the drive belt and pulleys. They should all be turning. If this is the problem you will see something seized up. Also if you have let the power steering pump run out of oil, it may also be seized. Good luck with it

I have a 2000 nissan xterra and everytime i have the defrost on after about 30 seconds i smell this burning rubber burning wire kind of smell. when the heat is on any other setting the smell is not there....

when defrost is selected a/c clutch is engaged and system automatically draws fresh air instead of cabin air.i woud strongly suspect compressor belt too loose and slipping or compressor seized and slipping belt.very easy to confirm visually.ever any squealing noise associated with odor?

Serpentine belt snapped 2 days in a row, the belt was burning the other day but today it just snapped and my anti freeze started to come out

A burning belt usually indicates a seized idler pulley on those gm cars. You will have to find which pulley is seized and change, it before replacing the belt or the new belt will only burn and snap again.

Engine occasionally idles at 2000 rpm, if you shut it off and restart idles at 1000rpm which is the normal for this truck. any ideas?

Dirty Idle Air Control (IAC) valve. it's common for the IAC to seize with carbon build up and will need to be cleaned. You can clean it with throttle body cleaner, just follow the instructions on the can of throttle body cleaner and clean out all the passage ways throughout the throttle body and pay attention to the IAC passage way. You may have to use two cans to clean out all the carbon and note there will be lost of smoke from the tail pipe, but that's just the carbon and residual cleaner burning out and should clear with in 10 min if not less. Do Not Use Carburetor cleaner, the carb clean is too corrosive to the gaskets used on the throttle body system. Good luck and keep me posted.

MPV 2001 burning smell, high whine?

Sound like the alternator bearings are seized or about to seize. The noise could be the bearings or the belt and the smell may be either of them also.
