Did you know that a farmer is out standing in his field ... and if it rains, he's going to get wet?

What motor, on what brand and what model of what? I have tried and failed many times, at being a mind reader!

Yeah, try swapping the plug wires on 3 and 4. Make the firing order 1,4,3,2. That may be your problem.

The points just close & ground out the ignition coil

My 2001 toyota sequoia smells like a burning smell when i turn on the ac what is it?

You most likely have leaves or a field mouse nest in the ducting and they are smoking when they get on the AC blower motor speed control resistor it is very hot. You can start a fire so have the blower motor removed and the leaves and or mouse nests cleaned out.
